red will always turn into pink around the edges when its blended because when red is lightened it becomes pink. she means a red that stays red where the colour was applied rather than applying pink even though it's deeper in the pan. The red in this palette is a true red ! :) I have this palette and the red is just as good as love plus by sugar pill !

I'm obviously not her and can't totally speak for her but I'm positive you just explained something we already knew. In the video she said it didn't blend out to be pink like most reds do, but it did and then she added more pink. We can see the process and like the og commenter said it may have been the monitor changing the color a bit... But I doubt it bc her eye looks weren't blended whatsoever, not like they usually are.

I completely agree. I've had to buy more single eyeshadows in specific neutral colors than anything because I WILL run out of them before any other colors (except black... I run out of that pretty fast also). Unfortunately I don't always have time to to put on a fabulous pink or red color eye look, so a neutral cat eye is my go to.

I am not overly fond of Morphe palettes as a rule but I do have several of them, including JH Vol1, as well as the James Charles Morphe. What I must say is the JH Vol1 seemed to be of higher-quality formula than the Morphe ones. I will update my first impression as soon as Vol2 arrives.

Since your face is not a straight surface of a white matte canvas with no variations of shade and light, different shades of blue might look like one and the same on your face as opposed to painted on a surface. So you're bound to repeat colors.

Really disappointed with this look. All she did was pat the pigment on. It's easy to make that look good. I wanted to see a real look with proper blending. This was blatantly transparently a plug for JH.
