Megsy first said it happened when she was pregnant with Archie to Oprah, but later in that interview, when Haz came on, he said it was not said to Megs and happened long before she got pregnant. What I take from it all is that Megsy is jealous as hell of Catherine and William, and that Scooby is furious with William (and by extension Catherine). Hell hath no fury like a Scooby scorned!

River, we had a situation like this in our family. Mom was dark skinned, dark brown eyed and dad was white as snow and blue eyed. We wondered forever about what combination or compromise the kid would come out looking like cause it could literally have been anything. Turns out it was a beautiful and unique baby boy with dark skin and eyes like mom but blond hair. Gorgeous kid.

I hate the pen moment as 'indicative' of Charles' attitude. It was within days of the loss of his mother, the travels of the body, the protocol of the funeral. Most of us get a few days to focus on personal grief and loss, so how are we to judge what that experience is like: where your loss is the country, or the world's, loss? When you are just holding it together with a million eyes on you, could it be possible to lose it over something minor? (And frankly, making sure a pen that works as presented does seem to be a minimal level of document-signing preparation). But people love to jump on this. Reaching...indeed.

Completely agree. The man had watched the Queen die just twenty four hours before. He was exhausted, grief stricken, doing his very best to honour his mother, his Country, and his family, pushing himself to the nth degree, and it wasn't enough for some. A tacky US news station decided to film him, unbeknownst to him, in a single weak moment, and this was the portrait of the King that they decided to broadcast. Hi River. Thank you for another insightful film. King Charles when he had the fountain pen moment was in deep mourning for his beloved mother as well as having the World on his shoulders in a new and extremely stressful job. I can completely understand his irritation. When my Mum was very ill before she passed, I had been sent to the chemist for a prescription for her and there was a queue , I literally wanted to punch everyone out of the way just because they were chatting and laughing and acting perfectly normally when my whole world was crumbling and I wanted the pain medicine for my Mum. Obviously I didn’t, but, I have never felt such rage so I can fully understand his stress and irritation at the leaky pen 💕
