the moment Contessina came onto screen i instantly fell in love with her, she was so loyal to Cosimo but powerful in her own right. when he didn’t appreciate her help it was heartbreaking

I feel like everyone acknowledges Clarice and Contessina and rightfully so but forget Lucrezia and Picarda even tho they were just as important. I feel like we all hated Picarda but in the end you realize that what she was doing was to strengthen Contessina
