I have the stainless steel version tsubame. i bought it because it looked beautiful and was not sure how often i would use it. Using this recipe (mainly version 1) with a tea like bean and it is one of my go to brews. Love it

Kyle, Thanks for the great content! Tsubame Kalita Wave is definitely in my wishlist, a bit pricey thought. I also really liked your B75 review (have one) and I bought a ZP6 because of your videos :D Could you please someday do a metal V60 review with your go-to recipe?

Thanks for the two recipes. A few questions. 1) Do you have a bloom time after the first pour? 2) How long is each pour? 3) How long do you wait between each pour?

Ich gieße alle 30 Sekunden 60ml Wasser nach. Also Gesamt am besten 210 Sekunden.

I bought the tsubame 185 from someone recently. I have only brewed with it a handful of times, and getting to know it, but it has a smell. Have you experienced that too? It especially comes around 1 min when brewing with it. It's a bit spicey, like…curry? Just wondering if this is normal, if it's the copper, or it's my dripper, something the previous owner did…;) maybe not a big deal ~ not really tasted it in the coffee, yet;)

ich brühe mit 92 Grad und habe keine Probleme mit der Säure. Das Wasser berührt durch die Papierform nicht einmal den Filterhalter und wird somit auch nicht abgekühlt.

Thanks for the review? Really interested to buy one, is it dishwasher safe?

I'd rather just clean it with water + baking soda! or water with coffee cleaning solution :)

nice! I was thinking of picking one these up. How does it compare to the b75? faster slower? any taste difference? cheers!

This is faster than the B75 in my experience! You can check out the B75 dripper review and see how we adjusted the recipe on the Tsub to give you a rough idea!

For the 50-50-50-50 recipe, how long are you usually pouring for? And for the first recipe, how long is the last 100ml pour?
@wideawakeph3662 Жыл бұрын
for the 50ml pour, maybe within 8sec. for the last 100ml pour, do it within 10sec!
@kross4434 Жыл бұрын
@@wideawakeph3662 what are the time intervals you pour the 3 pours for the 50-50-100 recipe and 4 pours for the 50-50-50-50 recipe to reach the brew times of approx. 2min 15sec and 3min, respectively?

You mean that this one is consistent from dripper to dripper while the standard steel and glass versions are very inconsistent from dripper to dripper. That's why I ditched the Kalita Wave long time ago.
