Tuna Feathers: southfloridafishingchannel.co...
If you want to do some tuna fishing in Florida and catch tuna I would suggest trolling tuna feathers (my favorite lure for blackfin tuna) between 130-240ft of water. Usually the tuna can be found under diving birds or around wrecks. Troll your tuna lures between 6-9 knots and you should get yourself a catch clean cook episode

Hieko my boy, I really gotta get you up to the Pensacola area and show you what a real black fin is! Those lil guys are bait for the jumbo yellowfin. Our average blackfin is 15-20lbs. Bull reds are running the beach hard right now. Its easy to get 5+ reds over 40" in a day right now

Trust me, your weather has been perfect compared to this winter in north Florida. A serious answer to your questions is that we've had a very progressive (rapidly changing) weather pattern for much of the winter leading to more extremes in temperatures, rain, and wind than is typical. This progressive pattern makes it tough for the weather models to get the timing right and causes bad forecasts. This is typical of an El Nino winter where the southern jet is active and brings more rain to north and central Florida than normal and more wind to the entire state. Most of us expect an end to El Nino and a neutral to moderate El Nina conditions in time for the heart of hurricane season, which most of us expect to be more active than normal.

Man you scared me when you thought you saw the tuna meat orange. I was thinking of the unknown situation with fish spinning and acting abnormal in the lower keys was spreading to the upper keys. Although the tunas were out in the deep where it should be safe. be safe out there🤙🏼
