Glad I just installed the tusk shifter on my Tw200. I also bent mine all up the first time I took it single tracking.

Great video man, really enjoyed it. IMS makes a really nice breakaway shifter for the Tdub. I bent mine early on and went with theirs and it's a great addition. Also just picked up their 3.6g fuel tank from Procycle and it fits like a dream. Really gets rid of that fuel anxiety. Can't wait for the next one! I have a video up on the new tank if you want to check it out.

Great ride man. I went out today as well down the Similkameen river. Got a flat tire from those damn goat heads. thankfully I carry a compressor and it was a slow leak and was able to get home. Like you said, it's always when you get cocky that something happens. I was so close to not bringing my back pack with tools and so thankful I did. Don't think I'll ever go riding with out it now. Gonna carry a patch kit and Sahara Tire sealant from now on as well.

Nice video. Convinced me to always carry a spare shifter and lever.

That looked like fun, thanks for sharing, nice area also. I live in Montana, I have some areas that look a bit like where you went. I put the Tusk foldable shifter on mine and put the OE one in my tool kit. I am always bending mine, hitting logs or rocks. Did you take extra fuel with you? Didn't see a spare gas can. Take care and keep posting! 😁

Tell us about your tires. Make, model, size...front and rear. Do you like them? Great video and excellent adventure!

I'm still running the original stock tubed tires, Bridgestone front - 130/80-18 & Bridgestone rear - 180/80-14. About 4500 miles on the bike, front tire shows more wear than the rear. I figure I'll be replacing both around the 7-8000 mile mark and definitely will be running these same tires again!

Always carry a spare shifter. Oem ones are easily bendable. I’ve had to change a few out on the trail. 👍
