Absolutely fabulous!!! Thank you Mr. Elliott for showing that the pipe organ can relate, connect, and win the hearts of the youth and even across generations. His playing and musicianship was a demonstration of blazing virtuosity. I hope he transcribes that one, too; however, we could never recreate that wonderful performance. Bravo!

This performance is slightly different than the one I watched. I went to one of the early/first performances (technically a dress rehearsal I think), and the "11 pipers" organ solo was more epic, with the lightning flash being at the end of that solo rather than the end of the song. Also, the solo itself was bigger and badder, or at least I remember it being. I'm kinda sad they didn't use that one for the video, because it was about 20x as epic. The audience gave a two-minute standing ovations before the song even finished, and they had to wait to finish the song. I think they changed it to be a little more subdued.
