Jesus! I just finished a marathon with my girlfriend watching these movies. Although I weren't bored I was in no way impressed by the movies. But that ending just somewhat really hit a nerve, so to say. I felt sad that it was all over. It felt like the conclution of something great - that is - as you say - impressive.

As others pointed out above, I think it had to do with the "huge goodbye" aspect. 4 years of movies coming to its inevitable conclusion and then *everyone* from the ENTIRE SERIES getting a shout in the credits, plus THAT song!

This movie captured people of all ages, not just teeny-boppers. Many years into the future we can look back and say that this saga is what helped define a time period in pop culture. We will always be forever grateful for Stephanie creating such a phenomenon and she changed the lives of thousands of people. The ending scene and credits was such a beautiful wrap up to such a beautiful saga. I cried like a baby.

I had this song stuck in my head for 2 years. I hummed it all the time and when we all went to watch the movie and it came on i cried. My family, mom aunt cousins and siblings. We all were obsessed with twilight. We read the books theorized about the characters motivation, and genuinely bonded over all of us liking one thing as a family. We had a hard life, like everyone does, and it was hard getting through it. This franchise was a respite from life for all of us. It was so important to us. I look back on that time so truly happy we had something to bond over, to help us in the meantime. Its all gone now, but at least we had it for a little bit.
