Man, that field was a mess of aircraft and he handled it like a Pro. Sweet landing and GoPro shots. Well done all

Aviation is amazing. I parked right across from this plane at Concord in October 3rd. I’ve got pictures of them loading it up for another supply run. I really wanted to talk to him about what kind of plane it was but they were busy getting ready to go.

i have a cpl dozen hrs in buddies t bone a cpl decades ago..very stable and a load hauler...but no check lists..no clear call out in a crowded parking area...she's barely got a seat belt on?? Aero commanders don't have have weak spars..the spar caps on some models have dissimilar metal and fatigue issues requiring the AD work...on the flip side twin bonanzas have a 5 yr wing attachment bolt AD...magnesium control surfaces that are hard to come by....pressure carbs run about 3500 to 4k a pop to rebuild...about the same for engine gear boxes....all things to consider but anyone who buys one should know this going in ..if they do they'll totally dig owning and flying one

I heard that it was forecast to Franklin engines, but when Preston Tucker bought the Franklin company to motorize his car, "first thing first," he immediately canceled the aviation contracts (Bellanca, Globe, etc.).

Todd used his plane to help those impacted by the hurricane, and FEMA actively worked against those trying to help. Crazy.

@@fly-n-m9445 Too many light twins go down due to lack of experience. It’s great to have a second engine if one fails, but you get real busy real quickly when it happens. I didn’t get the impression he was fully prepared for such an event.
