Ronnie Barker & Ronnie Corbett. Britain's comic geniuses. 😆

Many of the Barker characters were cruel, harsh and hard-edged - it was a strong line through their comedy. But niceness nearly always came through from Ronnie C. Therefore for me the nicest balance was C as the insurance guy and B as Reuben Abrahams - a well-observed character you could truly warm to!

Rikki Howard as Ronnie C's wife, now works as a trained counselor. Most well known for being in Hi-de-Hi! of course.

Ronnie Corbett could be a younger version of former Australian PM John Howard...two mawkish dweebs, like peas in a pod.

There would not be any pork butchers in Golders Green, unless they're kosher.

Yet, funnily enough, you're from North London, yet didn't get the joke. I'm not from North London, yet did... :)

@ Wrong, I got the joke. I live next to Golders Green and regularly request a sausage roll in the bakers.
