What do you think is the story behind the image released by Amazon? Is it a prologue? Think we will see the destruction of the Two Trees?

DEF a prologue for sure!!! We could end up seeing glimpses of some first age events occasionally scattered throughout the series. It could aid in further explaining the story line whenever the need arises.

@@ForbiddenFollyFollower I think there was a slight misunderstanding here, let me correct it right quick. @@hazbojangles2681 what I meant with my previous comment is that the Party Tree had no importance in the lore. It was not descandant of a great tree like the ones on the video, and no great moment of Middle-earth' history took place there. It was just a tree that was cut down by Saruman and then replaced by the mallorn. To the hobbits it was big deal for they valued it like they valued everything natural that came from the earth. But to the myths? As I said, just a tree

The tale of the Ents and Entwives was sad. It's disappointing Quickbeam isn't mentioned travelling to look for them and new trees as his groves were destroyed by Saruman's forces. They say he's young for an Ent, and there's many places the Fellowship went to that may be interesting to him. Not sure why none of the Ents from Fangorn want to visit Lorien and why the Elves of Lorien don't want to visit Fangorn Forest?

For some time, I pondered about the reasons why the race of men couldn't go to the Undying Lands. Perhaps you did a video on it, but I can't find it apparently, other than this one and about the Valar. I remember being on a video where another KZbinr talked extensively on that. In his video, he claimed the men who ever lived in the Undying Lands would grow weary, and if they ever succeeded in attaining Immortality, the spirit within man will be in utter conflict with his body as time passes, as if he's no longer himself. He also mentioned another key difference for the reason why elves were immortal and men were not, and it has to do with their spirits. Given what I learned, elven spirits who leave their bodies are destined to be bound to the world of Arda, while the spirits of men could no longer be bound to the confines of middle-earth. This is why elves are immortal, for their bodies must remain strong until the end. Perhaps you have a different take on this. If so, I would like to know.

And in the fullness of time, the three Silmarils will be recovered: one from the Sky, held by Earendil; one from the Seas, lost for now; and one that was flung into magma of the Earth... that may well have been taken, through long chambers unknown, to be buried under a lonely mountain... to have been dug out by Durin's Folk - The Arkenstone. (This last is just my feeling, an idea only). And once all three are recovered: they shall be broken open to release their captured light; and the Two Trees, still standing dead in Valinor, will be brought to life. The Mountains of Valinor shall be lowered, the Sun and the Moon will be no more, and the Light of the Age before Ages shall be seen over all Arda. All this after the final fall of Morgoth, at the Last Battle...

Exchanging the lights of first two lamps and then two trees against the whole moon and sun does not sound like a bad deal, especially for those lands that were on the other side of the Earth.

I never heard that before. I think they are just another species of tree that originated only in Valinor, but can also thrive in Middle Earth.

Great work as usual. But I think the dates/years are off - the 3rd White Tree of Gondor dies after 147 years? More like 1232, I reckon.
