For some time, I pondered about the reasons why the race of men couldn't go to the Undying Lands. Perhaps you did a video on it, but I can't find it apparently, other than this one and about the Valar. I remember being on a video where another KZbinr talked extensively on that. In his video, he claimed the men who ever lived in the Undying Lands would grow weary, and if they ever succeeded in attaining Immortality, the spirit within man will be in utter conflict with his body as time passes, as if he's no longer himself. He also mentioned another key difference for the reason why elves were immortal and men were not, and it has to do with their spirits. Given what I learned, elven spirits who leave their bodies are destined to be bound to the world of Arda, while the spirits of men could no longer be bound to the confines of middle-earth. This is why elves are immortal, for their bodies must remain strong until the end. Perhaps you have a different take on this. If so, I would like to know.
