I enjoyed the conversation. I’ve never seen a Boucheron watch. What an interesting and unique design. Very architectural, art deco-ish. I also like the idea that certain watches are for you. It’s irrational but I would look at a watch and can say if it could be my watch or no. Regardless of a brand, price point, etc. Coming to a hypothetical 3 Rolex collection, it would be an Explorer II 16570 Polar, 14060M Sub2 line ( no date) and a 39mm OP 114300 white or rhodium dial.

For me, a collection must have at least three watches. A "collection" is defined as "a group of things". A single watch is definitely not a group, two is debatable, for me it's a pair. If you have three or more, you can call it a collection. Callt it a two watch SELECTION.
