Most people can’t comprehend how large the M103 is. The museum I work at has one of the last surviving M103’s. I can stand inside of the turret with room to spare above my head (I’m 6’3)

The inferior version of the 120mm solid shot found in T34 heavy tank easily pens an angled panther's ufp. Idk what are you on about, if anything you'll be more prone to volumetric bullshit trying g aim at the turret front

I mainly used APBC as well, but recently against Soviet i mainly use the heatfs, Its amazing, 120mm Heatfs is quite consistent (compared to 90mm heatfs) hitting the center mass almost always is a one shot, And u overpressure the lights as well.

Saying its just APBC isnt really the whole picture. It was an extremly pointed shell that was extremly good against armor. Atleast IRL. It was actually the most powerful shell ever put on a tank gun. And was made to frontally pen the IS3 IRL.
