Zacian is a HORRIBLE design. They could have put hilts on it wrists, katana sheathes as back spikes, etc. but they didn't. There's only ONE thing that makes it the "sword" Pokémon and all they did was put a sword in it's mouth. It's da sword Pokémon so we put a sword in it's mouth, get it? I could have designed a better legendary with my arms tied behind by game development team.

Mimikyu doesn't give people heart attacks from looking ugly, it does that by looking SCARY. It's like the Boggart from Harry Potter. Its Moon dex entry literally says (and I quote): "A lonely Pokémon, it conceals its terrifying appearance beneath an old rag so it can get closer to people and other Pokémon." If you want to go by the quote-unquote canon side of things, you should've at least mentioned Feebas for Gen 3.

I believe in terms of designs ugly does not mean they inherently look bad or have a bad design. Personally I think Garchomp has a very ugly face, but I still really like the design despite that and think it’s a well made creature. Same can be said with venusaur, sure it can be seen as ugly but if it ties in with the overall look well. Then it’s fine in my book. This might make no sense but it’s just what I think.

The reasoning for some of these opinions is either weak or contradictory. For one thing, we can't see what Mimikyu looks like under its outfit, therefore it is not unpleasant in appearance. But ones like Venasaur, Landorus/Tornadus/Thundurus & their other forms, Zacian/Zamazenta & the like do like those ones. I know it’s an opinion but how can you say Venusaur uglier when Mr. Mime, Drowzee and Jynx!?! Yeah I understand that Venusaur isn’t as cool as the tank tortoise and the fire breathing dragon but calling it uglier than those three is just wrong!

Zacian is a HORRIBLE design. They could have put hilts on it wrists, katana sheathes as back spikes, etc. but they didn't. There's only ONE thing that makes it the "sword" Pokémon and all they did was put a sword in it's mouth. It's da sword Pokémon so we put a sword in it's mouth, get it? I could have designed a better legendary with my arms tied behind by game development team.

Zacian is more ugly then Zamazenta? I mean how else is a wolf going to hold a sword? If anything Zamazenta should have been a Lion because a shield mane doesn't work for a wolf like creature. You could argue that we would have gotten back to back lion legendaries from Solgaleo in G7 to Zamazenta in G8, but still a shield mane does NOT work for a wolf so Zamazenta has always looked goofy and off to me because of that whereas Zacian nails the wolf look even with the armor like pieces.
