I am new to big swimbait fishing but I’m a decent crank bait fisherman and I noticed when they come unbuttoned you’re rod is straight for a split second. I think you might have too stiff a rod and that’s why I use long fiberglass rods and keep them high and bent. I have lost fish while reaching for the net. Watch this in slow motion and you can see your rod is not bent enough when they get off.

Fish Boy personally for me, when it comes down to soft baits, I like the round reels the best but you can’t beat those tranxs these days!
@crazybassfisher5 жыл бұрын
Fish Boy just depends on What reel you feel most comfortable fishing those style of baits. For me, I like low profile for glides and fast moving baits and with hudds and mags, I like the feel of the round reel in hand
@fishboy12705 жыл бұрын
crazybassfisher yea I also feel like I could get a lot more power on hudd fish with the 400 b because I’ve been locked up on my cardiff 300 before with a hudd but from what I’ve heard the tranX is very powerful too.
