Don't forget Warley never used to fill the whole hall either. But yes the show was about 1/3 smaller I believe. That said, I still think there was plenty to enjoy, I'd much prefer quality over quantity any day. Thanks for watching 😃

Quite like that little unit at 20:20, clearly based on an LNER EM1. Nice that the spirit of such events remains intact within the UK, mainland Europe is severely lacking in that department, so here's hoping I can catch an event like this soon!

My personal ambition is to create a model of the Volk’s Electric Railway in Brighton. It’s a gorgeous project to bring to the attention of railway modellers to an unusual little railway in a gorgeous location.

Very impressive, That Model Railway Guy. The LMS Garrett is quite a piece of work. Some of the samples, though, look terrific, especially the Vale of Rheidol models. Say, maybe there's a new career for you as a driver!

At events centres you hire the space based on how much floor space you use. While some areas could have been better spaced out there's no point hiring out the entire hall if you're not going to use it - especially as it would inevitably be reflected in the ticket price. Bear in mind as well that the open areas were actually used for unloading/loading before and after the show so that it could be done inside and not out in the rain.
