Just a bolt through the peg works for me, i love doing fast wheelies and never have an issue, a real bad bumpy section might have it off the peg but its rare, depends on the bike too, on my R1 the foot sits so well it never moves, but on other stuff it sits slightly differently.....the key is to never attach yourself to the bike in any way that might drag you if you come off, been doing this since 1995, im above knee right leg so im on thumb brakes or heel brake on some stuff, i have done trail riding and thousands of miles abroad on bikes, you are doing ace, have to say i would love to be below knee as its less complicated but it is what it is....my life all in all is better than when i had two legs because of the amount of people i have helped adapting round disabilites with bikes, Good luck with the racing,

You're in a 1 make series, where everyone has had a winter test and nearly a whole season to get up to speed, you're 2nd race back in after a long break, and not far away. I thought you did a mint job Mike, at a track you've not raced at either. As you say, just getting used to the bike sliding a bit, takes a bit of time to get back. But, it'll come, you know it will.
