I love the guts of Elon and Tesla to deliver the roughest looking vehicle on the road and make it the most efficient and safest transporter. I wait that it gets imported to Europe, the RWD with the large battery. I've ordered two and hope to get at least one.

The Rivian looks small in comparison, but the Ford F150 lightning holds up against it 👍 It did make the Model Y look tiny though! 😬

@@demongs7481 Tesla engineers continuously reduce weight from parts and work with design and manufacturing teams to generally improve efficiency in both the products and the manufacturing process. Asking questions is part of the process.

At this point , I can’t even see anything anyone else could come up with that would at least look more futuristic than the Cybertruck. For all of those that don’t like it, or think it’s “ ugly “ ( I really wish they would elaborate more , just saying that “it’s ugly seems so elementary) . I guess a few people aren’t ready to be dragged kicking and screaming into the future ( which is exactly what the Cybertruck is doing IMO) , I guess they want their future pickup trucks to be what the Rivian R1T is , a conventional 3 box design, which is very useful but very boring now since I saw the Cybertruck reveal in 2019. What I really wish more people, including Tesla and KZbinrs , is to discuss more of why the Cybertruck has a triangular design. I think people who don’t like it would understand it better, rather than just leaving it to what they see.

Thanks for your comment. I’ve covered the ‘Why’ regarding the Cybertrucks design in previous videos… but absolutely. If more folks understood that its looks are the result of its ground up, first principles design than they might at least respect it for what it is

I like it, as well as the innovative engineering inside, but I can’t envisage ever having the need for a pickup truck. Probably another Model 3 for me.

The only people that "hate" it and is constantly insulting it is those that are scared that their noisy and smoky diesels is going to disappear. Which it will. They do not only hate the Cybertruck but all EV's, it is just that the Cybertruck is so different and attention drawing that other people will actually realize what vehicle they are talking about. Insulting a Model 3 or Y is like insulting a Camry or RAV4 no one cares, insulting a Rivian or F150 is like insulting Chevy if you are a Ford owner, but insulting something from back to the future now that gets peoples attention.

@@harrym740 Same with most other vehicles. Getting hit by a Ford Transit will not be much diffident, however with the collision avoidance systems Tesla puts in their vehicles it will most probably less likely that you get hit by one.

I suspect the one parked is in Entry height (lowest height) and the one in the showroom is on High ride height whch makes it look bigger. I've had mine for 3 weeks and it's almost unanimously received positive reactions. It's possible all the haters just keep their opinion to themselves but my experience with showing it to strangers has been overwhelmingly extremely positive. I've been fortunate to not have any issues, in build quality or malfunctions.

@@TeslaJigsaw Absolutely. It's one of the best things about Cybertruck ownership at this point in time. Sometimes I'm jealous I'm not as excited about the cybertruck as some people I've met. It's like the Cybertruck is a celebrity that take care of and take out to meet its fans.

The market for large pickups in the UK is so small it won't be worth Tesla modifying it to make it road legal here.

I hate to compare the two, but Range Rovers/Massive SUVs aren’t needed for most who own them either… could be a whole new cyber market. Most folks who say they want one over here have never been interested in buying a pickup. It just so happens to be one and could function as a (rather large admittedly) family vehicle

Ah not so sure it's price is ok i guess even for the top model and its range on the basic one is around 250 miles "officially" so it should be more really but is even lower around 220 miles "not good at all" a range extender can add substantial miles but it take up room in the boot "trunk" so less room for your equipment and belongings so not good there. Its stainless steel will mark extremely easily especially on our very narrow country roads that have brambles sticking out everywhere,let alone if you need to pass one of these, is the reversing cameras good enough for that as well especially with the length of it, the view out of the windows looks very limited and the structural window beams look right in your vision when turning. Also its stainless steel, its stron but what happens if the emergency services need to get in to extract you, will it take extra minutes that you don't have ? Or if it rolls those flat panels don't look very shock resistant and absorbing. Thats one of the reasons many everyday cars have rounded roofs and a body structure if they did roll they right themselves most of the time so to aid you getting out. The testla cyber truck doesn't have that. Also flat panels in an inpact are less strong than an equivalent curved one but it is steel so i will hold out judgment on that for now. Personally the technology under the skinn looks good but i really don't think is practical in the uk. Its a big brash American suv and just like most of them utterly useless and pointless as other vehicles can and still do a better job for the price and running cost. What and who exactly is built for because nobody i know is wanting to go out and buy one. Everyone wants an iconic 5 or skoda enyaq or equivalent as you are not picking the kids up from school or taking the dog out for a walk on the moors in this thing.

@@AR-rn8ok a truck in the UK is a "tractor - trailer" I believe you use that phrase. A SUV or sometimes called 4x4 is what Americans call a "truck" But a truck here is called a lorry, 🚛 or articulated vehicle, unit or cab if on its own/ just the power unit. The work "truck" in the UK are mostly used by builders and farmers or people pulling trailers of various kinds but is limited to these kinds of people. The general public do have them but it's not as popular as a "normal" is SUV is a better option.

@@AR-rn8ok No family of six is getting in a "truck" over here. Most people would have two cars or what we call people carrier that can hold about six to eight people. The absolute maximum a car can fit in the UK is 5 but a few "not many at all" have seats that can be fitted in the boot to hold a couple more but they are not standard seats just temporary ones. Many BMW cars only have four passenger seats. Also in the UK Many people would walk a few miles before even thinking about using a car, or use public transport if available. In the UK we are not grabbing the car keys first mentally and personally native British people don't tend to have very large families, who do are the immigrant families who have many kids in tow but they tend to use public transport most of the time.

The exterior looks like it was designed by a 6 year old on an Etch-a-Sketch. As for being something from the future, well the Aston Martin Bulldog concept from 1979 used the same wedge design language and that looked bloody awful as well.
