Cool video, I was looking at some of the dps logs, are you running celestial or ritualist? I'm running celestial myself and not sure how much of a dps loss it is from ritualist since i don't have eod.

Heyo, I am running ritualist which is in general the superior choice on any condi alac buld. I am not 100% sure how much DPS loss it is but Discretize optimizer says its ~2k lower on Golem so around ~6%. ( It can be more or less depending on phase length and how much you use Icerazor because that affects your power/condi dmg ratio.) Also: If you run Cele gear it is a bit better to run leadership runes but those are somewhat hard to get.

Hi, smarter guys than me did the math and Condi Dmg infusions are better since you are already capped in bleeding duration due to wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Blood_Fury. So further expertise would not affect all Conditions. if you wanna compare different builds I would recommend the DT Optimizer (optimizer.discretize.eu/?m=fractals)

I parked my Rev shortly after the sustain nerfs but kinda want to get back into it. I have full Cele + Travelers already. Any idea how much fo a dps loss I'd be looking at running Cele instead of Ritualist?

Im honestly not sure. I tried to find logs to compare but they were all before the exposed nerf. It should be around 5-8% so ~1-2k depending on the Boss and their Phase length. Also your Icerazor will do a lot more Dmg since it scales very well with Power. Also: If you run Cele gear it is a bit better to put in some Vipers pieces and run Toxic Maintenance Oil instead of going full Cele. Even with 200+ Agony Resistance. Leadership runes are also a bit better than Travelers with Celestial gear but that is minmaxing then.^^

@@holo1782 fast forward to now. Running 50/50 viper/ritualist with travelers. 37% BD thanks to the Feb 14 changes. So with pots the extra BD on top of that is a nice cushion. Very comfy build to play, and my Alac is always 100%. PS. Your tip to burst rather than do the raid rotation at 6:30 is such a crucial piece of info. I don't see any other guides talk about this but it makes such a big difference in dps performance in fractals.

Lets say i am going to pug, should i use ritualist over diviner’s version? They expect me to do the cc on cms should i drop mace axe and go staff on Ai?, for the stab in 99 should i drop malix?

First of all: All the gameplay shown is with pugs. So yeah, I would not recommend Diviner/Power Ren for pugs. It just has nothing besides Staff5 currently which is not needed in pug groups and the DPS from Diviner Ren sucks. Idk where you would need Staff5 (in pugs). On Ai itself it should not be needed since you have enough time to CC her. And on the Sorrows Staff5 does not hit more then 2-3 times so its not really strong either. Just drop Darkrazor and with a Sanctuary that should be enough. If you need more CC Sb5+4 and Axe5 should be way more than your CC share (>1k Defiance Bar Dmg). That is more than a Power/Diviner Ren can do on the Sorrows. If Stab is needed dropping Kalla is the way to go but for Skorvald its just more efficient to let the Hfb/Seraphfb/Qfb take Elite Mantra and/or SYG because the Fbs lose no DPS with it. Also Icerazor is great on the Skorvald adds. So I normally take Jalis only for T4s like Chaos or the third Deepstone Chempion.

If you go into Open World Metas with something similar to a Raid/Fractal build you are more useful than 90% of all players anyway. So yeah it definitely works.^^ You will lose ~15-22,5% Boonduration because Fractal Potions do not work in Open World so you will not cover 100% Alac on your own but around ~80-90%. Just make sure to run Incensed Response for Self Might (or press F2 on Cooldown).

is power alac still viable with renegade? i had a diviner's set going on before eod dropped only to come back to see it supplies quickness on herald now which i dont really need,just wanted to know if power rene alac is still doable cause it doesn't say so on the SC page!!1 ty!!!! edit:also it'd be nice to know its viability on not only fractals but also raids and strikes before i get a ritualist set going eventually >

I would not recommend it unless you are in a full power group. Basically if your group is very fast it still is decent because you can carry a lot of CC with Power and Condis wont have much time to tick. But in most pugs power ren dmg will just suck (compared to cRen) because the phases are too long. Especially if you run a Hfb/Hqs on top.

Why do you need 222 AR? How does it give you stats?

It gives you Boon Duration on a 10:1 conversion rat. So 150 AR give 15% Concentration, 207 AR give 20,7% etc. So if you have less AR (my build is optimized for 207 AR) you need to make up for it with Utility or Gear. 222 is usually the standard go to because with full fractal augmentations, full +9 stat infusions and the tear of alba potion you get 222 AR.
