Excellent review, Adam! I rode it for 1h30m in Norway in early November with 4 degrees Celsius (trying out the S 1000 XR after) and it's absolutely amazing. The perfect bike for 6'4" me, muscular & a lover of adventurous riding. The XR is a weapon, with absolute precision in riding and racing-quality brakes. Yet the comforts of the GSA with its wind protection, automatic gearbox, delicious seats for both rider and pillion, and the majestic sense of riding it. A marvelous machine it is.

All this hate towards a bike 😂. I have GSA 1250. I've had loads of bikes ,.sports bikes,.dirt bikes , naked etc. The 1250 is the only bike I've not had the one year itch to change it. I freakin love it! I know why i see so many on the roads and until you ride/ own one you won't get it. Im in my forties i dont wear a flip up lid or a POLITE Hi viz vest either. I think the 1300 looks good and will be swoping when the PCP runs out. Good reviews btw!

Also can you spec the bike without the ugly plastic radar front and back. Wouldn't use it and looks shit. Other than that think the trophy with the small screen looks good. Also what are the Karoo 4s like on the road ?

Agree, I want the normal GS, but specced to the same level (sport suspension and such) it’s the same cost as an Adventure! Or more if you count fog light, crashbars, pannier rack (not the not-working-vario panniers). And the GS doesn’t get black crash bars as standard, so your dealer will have to order and mount GSA crash bars and mount them afterwards as option.
