We've had ours for 6 years now. I use it for bathing my daughter. It's great!! It has fit in many different tubs. When we traveled, I brought it with us to gramma's. It gives me a new freedom. We're not limited to living in places that only have a "wheel in shower." I RECOMMEND THAT THEY REDESIGN THE SEAT TO BE MORE STURDY....We had to replace the foam seat like 3 times. Also, the headrest had to be replaced twice. A better grade of plastic would be better.

yeah4me1 does the bath buddy go into the water? From the video it looks like it stays above. Is your daughter able to bathe by herself? My son can't and I'm not sure this system will work.

Dina B I don't think I'd ever want to submerge the chair. We use it in our "garden bathtub"(it's a large bath tub), with a hand held shower attachment. At gramma's, the tub is typical size-it works fine. My daughter does not bathe herself. I like how this chair tilts back. I tilt her back when washing her hair, and then up when brushing her teeth and washing her face. It's a very light weight chair. They adjusted it to be high for me. In the showroom, the demo model is not as tall. We've had a custom seat put on our chair. It can be rolled over a toilet, or a waste bucket can be slid under the seat...convenient. It was recommended that vinegar and water be the only cleaner used. Follow that instruction. I hope you have good insurance to cover the cost. If you want to chat more about the chair, message me. This shower chair has given me so much freedom! Being apartment dwellers, we've moved a few times. It is not necessary to modify any bathroom. We no longer are dependent on a roll in shower.
