Legendary Chiyou still remains to be a forefather figure of the Hmong, as known Miao in China, who they still workship and pay their respect to this day along with Huangdi and Yandi. Chiyou in Hmong translated as grandfather or in Hmong prounciation is TxivYawg or Txivyawm. He was known to be a shaman who is powerful in black magic and can control wild beasts and storms. After the lost, Chiyou tribes have scattered all over the map of today known Asia. Those who went southward into today known China were the only recorded history or at least didn't get destroyed that later formed San Miao then into the Warring states under Chu and fought against the unification and then into the last Miao Rebellion against Manchu other than the revolutionary during the modern day. Many dynasties have past, but the decendants of this losing tribe still exist to today's modern days still refusing to assimilate to be Han, although majority of the bloodline DNA tested as Han. Finally at last, all humans were created by the same God, or creator of this earth. We all need to learn history and unite as one to prevent division because at the end of the day, we only fighting our ownselves.
