Very helpful series. Clear dialogue and overview (with no spoilers). Just downloaded the game last week, thought i would get a better understanding before I get into the game. As one OG gamer to another, thanks for this! I just picked up POE for pennies, not because I thought I needed to play it, but I need to play Avowed, and...pennies on the dollar. Sice it "looks" like an Infinity Engine game, I thought I could dive right in and my mad BG 1&2 skills would carry me through. Oops! This was the guide I needed when I needed it. Keep rollin' those natural 20's!

Imo, the overall world building and character creation/builds are way better in PoE

I have both. Played BG3 when it was still in development stage. Haven't played it since. To me, it has a feel of being on a movie set. It's not real. In Poe 2 (I have 1 also), I feel like I'm more immersed in the game, as if I'm actually in there running around exploring. Plus I like the text interaction of PoE 2 & random events in the world, whether you're in town or sailing.
