the best way to befriend villagers for me is giving corn (summer and fall) or green beans as they are liked items for all villagers except five and can be gold star quality decently easily, they also regrow so you only have to check for them once in a while. For the rest of the 5-6 villagers that do not like vegetables, i always keep some flowers on me because they are really easy to get and are liked by them and can also be gold star.

3:22. Actually, you want it ready by the 12th. You can't sell the harvest on the 13th, so you need to harvest and sell the crops by the twelth at latest to buy as many strawberry seeds as possible.

I did learn when choose Riverside farm is when you add the guest house, it will give Smoker too! that's mean you just buy Smoker in 100g . after got many smokers as you want then you can demolish the houses later. the only problem is just not enough coal to cook the fishes ( but it not a big deal for that ) ^^'

Also I always choose Bat cave in 1.16 bc there has Mushroom Log. it can produce more mushrooms when you place near by the trees ^^ it give me least 4-5 per log so it's turn out that it give me more mushrooms then choose the cave. ( it can be 10 for maximum depend by numbered of trees around the log ) If you have the sap farm you can put the logs along with trees as well , it still work even in the winter. about Dehydrator. it is easy to craft when compare with smoker so I think it fine to ignore the free one.

For a new player, I recommend the Woodland's farm. Mainly because there are a few times you'll need a lot of hardwood and it is easier to remember cutting down the stumps on your farm than it is to wander out to the secret woods each day. This isn't as good on the second run because the player should learn to prioritize upgrading tools and getting to the secret woods earlier.

the penalty for passing out has actually been raised to up to 15.000g in the new update, i only found out through the subreddit aswell!

That's for your health bar going to zero. Simply falling asleep outside the farmhouse or having your energy bar depleted is still capped at 1,000g.

The chest at the cave entrance is an amazing idea. But I do have some points - Why buy potatoes on day 1? yes they are the best money making crop aside from strawberries but then you have uneven farming times as the parsnips finish first and if you replace them then you have 2 batches of potatoes growing at different times and it can be hard to remember exactly how far along both are as you usually have to add 1 day to the grow timer for the seed planting day. Potatoes take 6 days to grow but they are harvestable on Sunday 7th, not Saturday 6th. personally I use the starting 500g on 25 parsnips to make 40 total. Yes crows will come and eat some, like maybe 2 on average but that's still a less damaging loss than a single potato crop and you only get 10 of those. Both give you almost the same amount of profit at around 1,400 total earnings give or take a bit of heapage contingency and then your next potato harvest will be ready to harvest 2 days before the Egg Festival. You can also still get 2 more harvests off and a possible 5th harvest with speed grow which is expensive so instead I use the final 5 days of Spring to upgrade the watering can if I can - Why plant the strawberries straight away? It is the best money making crop of spring but planting it straight away will only give you 2 harvests. Planting on Spring 1st the next year will give you your second harvest on Egg Festival 2: Abigail's Revenge. But you can get that second harvest before that fateful day with speed grow or Agriculturalist since you definitely will have Level 10 farming by then. Plus it saves on the manic seed purchasing each year if you have the seeds sitting around in the first place waiting for spring the next year, then all you need to do is spend your money elsewhere on other things like the speed grow or fertiliser or tool upgrades or gifts
