This arc feels like what fujimoto says after watching big lebowski. It made him think " 'what even was that?', nothing was resolved, wasn't everything pretty meaningless! But still, the protagonist had development, and the story progressed." Fujimoto loved it, and he wants the reader to get that after taste too.

To be fair this seems in like with what fami wanted. War to be stronger and chainsawman to be stronger. Everyone fears war and chainsawman more. They are way stronger. They are mentally stronger now as well. Best part is, for fami and maybe even yoshida, they got off scott free! Yk, unless Denji starts asking too many questions. Feels like everything is coming up Fami and there will either be a declaration of war, or maybe just a massive lore dump

It seems that there's a theme of being rejected when it comes to the Primal Devils in p2. Falling Devil didn't get the satisfaction of serving her meal, and Aging Devil didn't get to see their dream come to fruition. Maybe that's what Public Safety/Fami was planning all along, to get rid of the strongest Devils by not letting them have what they desire (even Denji's whole arc was about (not) reaching his dreams).

even if nayuta is truly dead, I think the denji we see now will be able to reconcile this fact, a couple chapters ago while he was running in the aging devil's world, he said that he would just find a new family, no matter what the world throws at denji, he has resolved to just keep finding new joy wherever it may be, and I think that will ultimately be the thesis of the series, that despite all the agony, you can still find those moments of bliss amongst the storm.

Fami is a huge pet Marmot. She doesn't care about her surroudings, who the people close to her are and she only wants to eat. It pisses me off that she gets away with everything and does not do any active effort in trying to fit in with anyone. Makima at least tried to go to parties with other Devil hunters to appear more human, but Fami just...Is indifferent.

It’s just boredom pretty much. The Aging devil had lived for years, he’s bored of just waiting around and watch human developed. His garden was failing at reaching new peak (as mentioned by the Mree guy). The whole reason this arc happened because he wanted to erase the concept of aging so human can develop by their own mean and not by his condition (there were literally nothing inside his garden for human to develop). So there’s no point in keeping Denji and himself in there (Not to mention he wouldn’t be able to watch human through his big ass 24k mirror)

I think that the darkness devil is stronger than aging in my opinion. First off the aging devil can not use his powers in his own world unlike the darkness devil and his world he gets stronger. Also there is the fact that the aging devil was defeated while the darkness devil was not and traumatized everyone unlike the ageing devil and there loss. Plus to me the darkness devil is older than aging and there is the fact that he speaks a whole other language that know one can understand and his introduction was amazing and mysterious just like darkness. But an argument I would like to ask is who is stronger aging or the falling devil what do you guys think?

I don’t think its fair to compare the devils power really, they all have a goal they wanted which is why their defeats differed. Darkness devil was afraid of Chainsaw man, he wanted his heart so he went out to kill all of them until Makima saved them all (it was not his world by the way, they all got sent to hell just exactly where Darkness devil was). The Falling devil wanted to serve a perfect meal and only used around 10% of its actual power (As stated that Fami cant use a large amount of the devil actually power). Still atleast a whole city is still in reversed gravity from the Falling devil’s effect. The aging devil did not wish to kill, its goal was to see human’s evolution, which is why it didnt try to kill anyone. If it did you would see that same thing that happened to the bullet Yoru shot except its going to happen to everyone.

Yes, very anti-climatic but I think ppl are jumping the gun when they're accusing denji for being non-chalant this chapter. like seriously, everything after the sushi incident has been chaotic so when we get a panel like that where he's "supposedly" enjoying a meal with his enemies, it might rub readers off but let's wait until what he has to say next chapter. Im aware that he should be aware of barem and fami's alliance so it should be interesting if he brings it up. unfortunately, we have to wait again 💀
