The strongest weapon in Dead Cells... and it's a f**king baseball bat xD
This item got me the hitless achievement on the 5BC spoiler boss and I'll be honestly when I say I don't think I could have done it otherwise... it's broken.
This video shows you how to set up custom mode, what items to look out for, how stun mechanics work and why this build is beyond busted and will promptly get nerfed into the fucking ground.

I actually created this build in 5BC so... yes it DOES work at the hardest difficulty... I hitlessed the spoiler boss with it... thumbnail was fascinating to create and used an AI generated background and a LOT of photobashing in my editing software XD cool system to test out though... learned a lot

I've got to say, even if you did do it in 5BC the video is still a lot more credible when, you know, you're not playing on the easiest difficulty haha. It's also a better way to showcase when the enemies have actual health, since you have more BONKBONKBONKBONKBONK footage.

This is basically Hotline Miami: the build. The bat is literally from that game and biker uses similar knives as throwables in the first game. And nearly everything is one hit there too. This is the best crossover so far.

Despite the enemies you mentioned being immune to stun, those same enemies are not immune to root (except for Giant, but I'll have to check because I swear Phaser root works on him). So technically the bat is still broken against them since it crits on stunned and rooted enemies.

I know this might be asking much, but can you do individual videos going over each biome in the game, enemies, puzzles, and the accompanying boss? Phaser is also great for this build, it doesn’t expressly say it but it stuns enemies too. Using heart of ice and instinct of the master of arms you refill the phaser instantly. You can then spam the two to teleport around dealing guaranteed crits

@Syrus Alder always have access to crits. They ate suppose to be played starting at range, then close up (playing the weapon as intended gives you those crits) does really solid damage, and you can do more damage by shooting your intended target more. Good against groups with careful play, good against bosses cause all of your shots will end up in the boss

This is literally just scout from TF2 before the sandman nerf. this is an elaborate reference to a time when you could throw the flying guillotine and hit someone with the sandman ball and do critical damage only the sandman was the thing to cause the stun and the flying guillotine was the one to do the critical hit

Phaser has a hidden feature that roots the enemy you phase yourself to. Pair that with wolf traps and a shield and you're basically untouchable while bonking enemies (including elites and bosses) to oblivion all the time.

Frost blast might don't have stun but freeze but I think using this with baseball bat is really good, if your wandering baseball bat has also a stun so spamming frost blast with baseball bat with a stun is neat, and probably frost blast works some bosses

Been loving this build. Thank you. One nit: I think it makes more sense to go Brutality than Survival, especially on higher BSCs. The reason being having more health doesn't help that much since enemies damn near one shot you anyways so having mutations like Combo scale with your scrolls makes more sense.

The bat also works on rooted targets as well, if I remember correctly, so the enemies that don't stun are taken care of. Plus there's a root grenade in survival as well, so...

To make things better, Dracula's initial form can be stunned while his teleport-heavy moveset makes rooting him impossible. If you go after him and he doesn't delete the shop, you're better off with double stun grenades, which are also useful against his final form's minions if you ran out of ammo on your throwable objects in the first round.

The baseball bat also works on rooted targets, meaning you can destroy every enemy, my build for the root class is the same weapons but I've rearranged the skills to the root grenades and bear traps, mutations are master of instinct, heart of ice and combo

You can also do this on the Spoiler boss. Its kinda like the concierge since he cant or barely can get out of the stun if you stun grenade him. Used this tactic to no hit the fucker since im not gonna try to no hit him honestly when going throug an hour long run just to reach him

It's funny because yesterday I managed to get to the vanilla final boss (first time there btw) with this weapon, using wolfs trap, and the turret that throws buzzsaws (HK moment) that bleeds enemies. With the bat having extra damage to bleeding enemies... yeah. Still the final boss wreck me harder than the golems.

Dead cells is the indie game to end all indie games. Half life references, collabs with other indie games (such as terraria, RoR2, Hallow Knight, Hyper Light Drifter, and Hotline Miami), it's a roguelite so it's addictive as heck, very funny moments throughout, and of course moments equally as frustrating as getting crushed by a boulder in terraria.
