THE ULTIMATE BOOK VIDEO 📚✨🧸 book unhaul, 5 star reads, updating my physical tbr, & journaling!

It might take multiple videos but Riley Marie just did an amazing series of unhaul videos where she physically touched every single book she owns and did one shelf per video. But that could be a great way to show people all of the books on your physical TBR while also unhauling the books and maybe showing off some of your favorites. I love the idea of videos showing your physical TBR but they always just end up a series of quick flashes of the book and title and those videos drag after a while. In my opinion. I'll be curious to see how you go about making the physical TBR and unhaul videos.

goodreads will list a book multiple times if you've added different editions, so if the edition you marked as to be read is different to the edition you ended up reading it will be on your shelf twice, under the 'My Books' page there's a button 'find duplicates' which will show you every book that's been shelved multiple times and will give you the option to delete specific editions while keeping the editions you want, it will show which edition is marked as to be read or read etc and whether hardback/paperback so its easy to tell which edition you actually want on there

I combine my bullet journal and reading journal, so space is a bit at a premium 😅 but I bought a book review notepad from an Etsy seller and that's how I track my book reviews! Makes my journal nice and chonky, but saves page space otherwise! I stack them together and staple/washi tape them to a single page to save space. I have spreads for my "24 to read in 2024," 5 stars, DNFs, reading marathons and challenges I take part in, and book subscriptions (to make sure I'm reading them!) in the front part of my journal, with month-by-month reviews in the later half. I love Tombow dual brush pens for both lettering and art/coloring on my spreads, and I use Sakura Pigma Micron Fineliner pens DAILY. Sorry for the long comment, but I love talking journaling 🤓

🖋📓💻I used to make dedicated book review spreads for each book I read in a month, but found I would not write much to fill out the empty space. Instead, I fit 3 review sections into one page in my Archer & Olive B5 notebook. I also make a calendar spread with a stats page next to it along with "reading hopefuls" and a reader bingo. I am new to using a reading journal, but I like how I decorate my spreads for each month.

I love Beth O'Leary 🙈 I haven't read The Road Trip (though it's on my tbr) but I've read The Flatshare, The Switch and The No-Show and gave them all 5 stars. Her books are definitely more of a woman's fiction/chick-lit kind of a vibe though and they are very British, so, maybe not for everyone. But most of my fav authors are British 🥰

Thank you, I really enjoyed this video. I have been journaling while watching. I sometimes combine a spread for two books in a series if I read them after each other. I just finished Vera Wong's unsolicited advice for murderers which def was a 5 star book for me. I have a huge journal but combine it with commonplacing. So every other page is a book read and every other is other things like funny quotes, words, pictures and stuff I save on my phone. Most recently some poetry was tossed in there. 📖

This is a fun video! Love all the things and really love the book journal! I book journal in a hobonichi cousin. 5 star reads get a two page spread with cover, all the info, synopsis, my thoughts and fanart if there is any. Lower rated books are 3 per page and an over view of my thoughts on the book in a few sentences. I do have a monthly stat page in my journal that make using storygraph and a spreadsheet that I use. I also use a lot of Randi Dot Plans stickers from Etsy for custom scripts, genre labels, stars, etc.
