It's so important to cherish your daily life! That makes up most of our days, so it's necessary to feel comfortable being with oneself and to care for one's own good. Very nice vlog, I'd love to see more of the positive selfcare! That's what books are to me 😊

I totally agree with you, and I have experienced times in my life when I wasn’t able to take care of myself and therefore was unable to read, so those are definitely connected for me too 🩷

@@arinoyume It's so good when you know wat works well for you! I also try to convey positivity in my vlogs, not by books, but by living and Japan and sharing the bright side of daily living here, so I'm happy that we're in this journey together!

I find your videos so relaxing. I have always struggled with studying Japanese.. I've been trying to do it off and on for a good chunk of my life, even hiring a tutor 2 years ago. Only in the past half month have I made any progress that I feel has really improved my comprehension by leaps and bounds. I just finally figured out what worked for me. Some of the suggestions and resources you have given here helped a lot! Thank you!

Loved this! Seeing the joy you get from reading in Japanese is so motivating. I can’t wait until I’m able to read ‘comfortably’ in my target language, Korean. It will open up a whole new world! 😊

I also live in Japan and I’ve been an avid Japanese literature reader for a long time. Unfortunately not many foreigners in Japan read in Japanese, so I’m very excited to have found your channel. If you do like fiction, I highly recommend 小野不由美 and 西條奈加

Really great video! Hope you enjoy your new books. I read Kitchen in february and really loved it, but I also read No Longer Human this year and was very dissapointed. For no Longer human, I don't understand the hype. Really looking forward to your reviews!

I read "The Cat Who Saved Books" and though the story is interesting, I didn't enjoy the way it was written that much... I remember watching "Battle Royal" and loving it! I didn't know there was a book; I need to check it🧐. Also, the collection you are creating looks really interesting. I hope you enjoy all the new acquisitions😊

It’s always so exciting to get new books and browse through bookstores. I can totally relate. And I’m very interested in that book about reading or more the lack of it as an adult. Maybe you can share your thoughts and take-outs from it once you’ve finished it? Would be very interesting because a lot of people, including myself, experienced that. On another note, thanks for sharing your go to bookstores. I took a lot of notes because I’m going to be in Fukuoka at the beginning of November and I need to go to a bookstore as well to get a few things for my Japanese studies. So is there a bookstore among those which you would recommend going to for study books, especially drill books for the JLPT?
@arinoyume4 ай бұрын
Yes I would DEFINITELY go to either Maruzen, Tsutaya or Junkudo in priority - the other bookstores might not have a Japanese language learning section! 🙏🏻 about the book: okay! I will share my thoughts when I read it 🥳💕 thank you!

Do they sell books in English at Book Off?
@arinoyume4 ай бұрын
They do! As long as people sell books there, they end up on the shelves so you’ve got lots of languages actually
