In case it hasn’t been mentioned. Fusion Substitute can replace one of your polymerizations. It always counts as poly (so KotS can search it) and you can banish it from grave, to shuffle one of your fusions back into deck from grave. Which is usually your mystic mine out, because the field spell will trigger to let you pop a card on field.

For Combo 3 as someone else mentioned you could've sent Merrli for Lubellion to make Mirrorjade and then bringing it back with Kitkallos, but also sending Reinohart with Metanoise would allow you to still make Winda while also getting Kaleidohart on field. As you can send Havnis to grave from hand with Reinohart GY effect then on special summon send another Tearlament to fuse.

im having so much trouble figuring out how I wanna play the deck. I really like the aluber/branded opening/fusion deployment stuff, but playing some handtraps and crossout and possibly a larger shaddoll package would be really nice. Also, cutting zeus for an ablion would be cool. You can play snow in the main for it as well. It can send branded lost in the end phase and they cant respond to your tear effects. This is helped by the branded opening stuff because it lets you see the branded package more. This deck can be built so many different ways its so stressful!!

The sheer variance in build options right on release makes this deck really cool and fun the fiddle with. It helps a lot that they're all very beautiful cards. So glad I picked up a core presale, so I can try them out. You should try Absolute King Back Jack and Fusion Substitute for spicy tech.

I built the deck as well as splights. I do love tearlaments because my locals play a lot of anti-meta. And I love how the field spell gives that free pop when fusing with the tearlaments.

@@MrKyriakos32 i pulled and traded one so I didn’t really buy them😅 and honestly no. Tearlaments lack field removal, and the field spell helps it a lot. An example when I was playing my locals, I had someone Activate “There Can Only Be One”. So I foolished burial Havnis to fusion and popped the trap. So it really helps. You can try playing without it but personally it you’ll need it down the line. Mystic mine maybe? But you’ll just need to make sure you always have less monsters than your opponent.😅

Merrli wouldnt trigger though, as lubellion sends for cost, not per its effect. Unless im missing something.

@@WendlerTV you send merrli off of lubelion (which you are correct, she would not get her effect because she was sent as cost) to fuse into mirrorjade. Kitkallos can summon a tear monster from hand or grave. He didn't have to keep the merrli in hand to get the milling of 8 cards. And he would have ended the board with a mirrorjade instead of a useless lubelion.

opening is pretty good starter, also protects your fusion monsters from being destroyed by card effects, fusion deployment is cool tech as well it special summons reinoheart or albaz from deck so you don't use your normal summon, from my own experience i like this a lot, since i can side in lava gole or sphere mode or even denko sekka and still have full combos

Its possible. Just buy a branded engine for cheap around 40$ (they are cheap now) and add a cheap tearlements engine for around 60-80$ then add staples. If you mean super budget below 100$ then its not possible

Since I only have 1 copy of reinoheart I'm debating using either fusion deployment or supreme sea mare to substitute for extra copys for reinoheart. Supreme seamare pretty much has same effect it dumps a aqua monster to the GY.

With the branded fusion combo you did. You miss played it. If you pitched merrli to make your mirrorjade. You can then use kitkalos to target itself and thr merrli in the gy to bring it back out basically doing the same thing as keeping it in hand.

What’s your input on running No desire or anything for draw power(beast aside)? Does desire conflict with branded engine in case banishing albaz or just didn’t opt for it? no real issue getting cards needed to hand without it? Thanks for the input Also what about reducing a hand trap play set for super poly, reduce a few 2 ofs in extra deck for garura/mudragon you’re already running drago x2. What about ROTA as another 1 of starter ?

Fusion deployment doesn’t outright replace it, but makes it so you have more ways to go into reinoheart and the deck is still relatively good

Am i missing something or could you just go for branded fusion, send king of the swamp + 1 tearlament to make lubellion and the use the tearlament to make kitkallos to get the whole combo started? This way you dont have to normal summon reinoheart

You should do combos with a full hand of 5, even if you're showing one card combos to show the things to consider adding or how many mils to go for based on some of your draws etc. Your mils are always going to look better if you have more tears in deck and nothing in hand. :)
