Everydayimeating I only had bk about 4 times in my life I got to say they really nice they no stores by me 😢 and I never tried a wendys could dave be wendys husband or maybe a family member ? 😂 who knows would u ever consider getting 2 mircowave burgers cook them in a frying pan and add salad copy like bk style at home maybe I have done a upgrade vid on a mircowave burger added salad what a difference and I also done lidls cooking in a pan vs mircowave cooking 😊 and wow 2 different taste great vids as always oh yeah a question 4 you do you film these in the same day as each other vs off I bet it cost alot to do and every day too but I love your content 😊

Wendy's. I met the founder and his daughter Wendy in the 90's. I was inspired and named our company after our daughter. They use best fresh ingredients. Great flavor. Their chicken burger is the best.

Dave Thomas is the creator of Wendy's restaurants, he named the restaurants after his daughter who is now the CEO of the restaurants, Dave started by working with colonial sanders on his Kentucky fried chicken franchises, once Dave got the experience and some money together and his daughter was born he then started creating the Wendy's name turning it into the multimillion doller company it is today The square patty was an idea stolen from the white castle chain , witch is the oldest burger chain still in existence today but only bairly still in existence

I lived in the States for years; Wendy's was always a cut above BK and McD's, but it was always a bit pricier, too. Astonishing to see it's cheaper here in the UK, now. Wendy's all the way, in my opinion; so much fresher. Do they still offer the chili made from unused burgers? One of the best fast food gems, back in the day.

Fun fact… Burger King is called Hungry Jacks in Australia. It’s exactly the same though. We don’t have Wendy’s but they are opening up a few stores this year. Can’t wait to try Wendy’s it looked delicious. 😊

Hi from super-stormy Los Angeles 🙋‍♀️ Awww... You didn't get Wendy's famous chocolate Frosty! The Wendy's Frosty is not a shake, though it's technically in the shake genre. The Wendy's Frosty is credited with starting the American habit of dipping fries in chocolate shakes. While it sounds weird/awful, it is very tasty! Wendy's square burgers were originally for cooking efficiency on the grill. But in the past decade it's also become their quality motto to never cut corners. As for Dave Thomas, the founder of Wendy's, he used to star in all the commercials. After his passing, his daughter, Wendy, took over as the commercial spokesperson. You can probably find old commercials on this platform if you want to see them.

I generally prefer Wendy’s to Burger King - mainly because the burgers taste better and fresher and the fries are much better and in better portions. Have given Burger King a miss for the last ten years unless there’s no alternative on a stop on a long road trip (and I always wind up disappointed).

Nice to see that the BK burger is actually presented & prepared corectly - sometimes you get one that looks like a bomb went off in the pack - stuff & sauce all over the place. That Wendy's meal looked great as well, we need more places to open up in the UK ASAP!! Thanks for the video.

In Leeds, I prefer Wendy's because the environment of the restaurant is better. I think the Burger's King in other cities, such as Hull, are better than the Burger's King in Leeds.

They used to have Wendy's in London back in the 90's. I remember there being just outside Kings Cross station and one at Piccadilly Circus. The burgers were amazing and to me, they actually tasted like steak.....

Liked your video, but some of your commentary made me laugh with the nice/fantastic while looking in the camera lol And when you put empty little cup for the sauce and nothing was coming out! And sure you knew what Wendy's burger looked liked anyway beforehand! As you must know they were around in the UK in the mid 80's till 2000. Then they went back to concentrate on the US/Canada market! I was sooo happy when they came back to the UK-I was last in Leeds around 5 ye as ago I'm in Kent 😀

Lovely to see you, this was a great review! I was undecided at 1st which was the best burger meal. I preferred the Burger King sesame seeded bun with burger, loved the self service facility in Wendy's & it's nice to have the option of top- ups on drinks! The added cheese with the Wendy's burger will have given more flavour & I liked the look of the chips. I could see you were enjoying this meal, so the winner for me on this comparison goes to Wendy's. Thank you for sharing, take care 💜

So to give some background on Burger King vs. Wendy's. In NA Wendy's uses fresh beef, it's never frozen, BK uses frozen. In the morning Burger King flame grills all of their patties and puts them in the fridge. When someone orders they take a cold patty and microwave it with the heel of the bun. This is the reason I never eat Burger King. Mileage varies I guess if you can't tell it's been microwaved you are okay. For me it's like getting a Burger from a school dinner. Wendy's is one of the last fast food places that has reasonable prices and fresh food. 5 guys is also great but very very expensive. Great review though, always enjoy them!!

Back in the day Wendy’s had great burgers and chicken and chilli cheese potatoes. But something changed. The baconator rules now. Burger King whopper with half fries half onion rings a go to. Good value.

Well combo king 👍. It’s Wendy’s for me. I like the big portion of chips and the cup thing so you can dip the chips in. The burger looked really flavourful with cheese top and bottom. And it’s cheaper😮. BK once in a blue moon, Wendy’s once a week. Great review 👍

In the US the pecking order is: burger king, macdonalds(pretty much looked at as cheap and nasty) then Wendy's. Recommend Memphis BBQ king at BK, Baconator at Wendy's.

I like the look of the modern design of the Burger King! I find the food in Wendy's a little better though. Also I think the Wendy's burger looked amazing, much more natural looking less slimy than a Mc Donald's burger The USA restaurants are ultra popular and expanding in the UK now, Popeye's, Slim Chickens, Taco Bell...if I'm in a rush I like the fact you can order at a screen, get fairly tasty food quickly...if I've got more time I still prefer somewhere like a nice country pub though!

Used to really enjoy a Burger King, there were two near where I live, but they’ve both gone. The flavour of the burger was far superior to McDonald’s. We don’t have a Wendy’s either ! We have a Five Guys which I think is ridiculously expensive and d we have a McDonald’s so quite limited. We have other outlets that do burgers but can be a bit hit and miss. When you walked down our High Street you could smell Burger King !

Dave was the founder of Wendy's. He was a very interesting guy. Adopted. Protégé of Colonel Sanders (KFC) He made the burgers square so they would more than fill the bun. He wanted people to see meat, not just bun.

Far too kind to Wendy’s. Their burgers are completely flavorless, and the flame broiled taste of BK is what makes them better. Wendy’s fries are better, though, and you all in the UK are eating MUCH cheaper than we are in the colonies. Forget about McDonald’s. It has flavor, but the flavor is bad, and their burgers have inexplicably shrunk again. I got a cheeseburger there last week and the thing was about 3” in diameter and way expensive.

BK for me and the better half , tried Wendy's in Portsmouth and we both agreed BK's burgers are bigger and better with fresher salad and nicer fries. A Whopper with Cheese is my favourite mid-priced burger, they're always tasty with fresh salad and that delicious flame-grilled taste. I've never tried Wendy's but that also looked very nice. And that tomato slice!?! Jeez, either that burger was tiny or they're using just the middle slices of a beef tomato, which leaves me wondering where does the smaller slices go? In the bin?

I don't personally go to any of these minimum wage corporate chains, as the quality and nutritional levels are generally dreadful. I wouldn't be seen dead in a FatDonalds or Unlucky Fried Kitten for example. I would sooner cook at home using an airfryer, or spend a few more Euros on a burger in an independent, family owned restaurant. Thanks for the videos. I haven't yet heard you say "oh, this is really awful", which would make a refreshing change sometimes.

Not tried Wendys but burger king is way to hit and miss for me, i like the fries but the whoppers are usually cold by the time you get from the counter to the table despite being made at the point of order. Maybe the patties are too thin to hold heat, especially after the chilled veg is whacked on top

You need to start being a bit more assertive with who is best from your prospective as opposed to asking viewers to say there point of view. They are watching you as a reviewer of food so either give a score or be clear who is best and why and then ask people for their preference.That’s your role not the viewers.Just saying and I’d like to see your numbers on KZbin go up.
