I have a genuine question and don’t want to offend anyone. As an European I enjoy watching more the traditional F1 courses like Belgium, Monaco or tracks like Le Man. I think it is because of the variety of the course and the pleasing environment, especially if you compare it to the US tracks. I guess watching and driving are to very different things but what are your thoughts on that? For me Daytona looks just boring, like racing in a concrete desert - round and round.

F1 is boring. Daytona is an amazing track combining a road course with the high banks of the oval. It's an incredibly fun track to race.

@@CWLemoine I guess the speed rush during the race should be really enjoyable. It is just my opinion as a viewer. Why is F1 boring for you?

It's terrible racing. No passing, same guy wins every time. It's glorified time trials/qualifying. I don't know about speed rush. This is amateur racing and a lot of the outside was washed out by the camera. Check out the IMSA Rolex 24 if you want pro racing (same as Le Mans).

@@CWLemoine I understand your criticism about the “no passing”. It is a bit boring if you see the same guy every time on the podium. But if you had the chance to race full speed through Monaco...that must be really something. Or racing with 2-3 other cars on a narrow country road through Montana - Mountains on one side, trees on the other.. I will look into IMSA, thank you.

@@0cu0let me tell you as a fan of both, the spectacle of IMSA, particularly the Rolex 24, is no less than in F1. There is very little in the motorsports world like the hypercars passing the GTs 2, 3 or even 4 wide on the banking before reaching the infield. And the MX5 cup this year at Daytona was without a doubt the best racing I’ve ever seen, the banking gives a whole new dynamic in addition to the more traditional inner course.
