The calculator I used gives the calorie count as 600. You should take the calories given by whatever calculator you use as a guideline and not an absolute definitive number. For example in this recipe the brand of chocolate you use will affect the calorie count as will the size of the eggs. Plus you'll leave some chocolate sauce on the plate and maybe some of the sponge will stick inside the ramekin - both of these will affect the actual amount of calories you consume.

I have been doing some research about this dessert, as ive never made it before, and was amazed by how different recipes are from one another, same ingredients but very diff. proportions.. i decided to try yours, i just reduced the sugar and butter as i prefer my desserts not too sweet nor too rich.. i also added some cardamom to the chocolate, my new favourite spice, and i have to THANK YOU for this recipe.. i even decorated like yours with mint leaves and strawberrie.. AMAZING

Just made these, 400 degree F oven. I did add 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Timing is very important, you must remove them at 14 minutes. I gave them one more minute and they started to set up. Trust that they are properly cooked even though they may not look quite there. I used Trader Joe's dark chocolate bar. Results were very tasty, very chocolatey, and impressive to present. Thanks for the easy to follow instructions. Frank B. in CT

Hi Titli, being all very British and precise, can you please share with us the dimensions of your ramekins to replicate your beautiful results? What's the volume of the ramekin, as well as the diameter & height of the dish, as the latter is more helpful when going to the shop to purchase similar ones. If this is a french-ish recipe, we *should* be buying Pillivuyt, Apilco or similar! Thanks.

Hey titli! İ tried this recipe 3 times but it seems i can't cook the bottom and it turns out to be raw when i flip it on a plate, it is way too liquid. My friend did this the same way as i did and it turned out well. The only thing i noticed he does different is that he fills 3/4 of the ramekin. Could that make the difference?
@TitlisBusyKitchen010 жыл бұрын
buyukpamukcu How confident are you that your oven temperature is what you think it is?

I'm tossing between making molten lava fondant or your soufflé ...but I need to know which of the two I can successfully prepare ahead of time for my dinner guests. I need to have either prepared about four hours or more ahead. Which do you suggest? Thanking you.....cheers

4 hours?? I would go for the soufflé if you want to cook it ahead of time, or the lava cake if you are OK with cooking it just before eating.
