The CSA was never going to win the war. They simply couldn't compete in a war of attrition. Even if Lee had defeated the ARMY of the Potomac in 1864 the North would simply have raised another Army and another etc. The manpower and industrial might of the North was unbeatable. In actual fact the CSA was like the US in Vietnam.... They may have won a lot of the battles but were never, ever going to win the war.

@@bmac3093 The British Prime Minister, Lord Palmerston, the British Parliament and Queen Victoria herself never supported the CSA. How could they? Slavery was illegal in both Britain and France.

How wonderful! Recoilless cannon! And rifles almost so. Why, with the resources available, not give a more realistic picture? Was it done on the cheap with weekend re-enactors?

Make your own if you think you can do better. Appreciate the effort Lionheart films puts out for our entertainment and stop complaining. Besides, I believe most of the action footage is stock reenactment action, done by people who reenact famous wars.
