gk - alisson - Not much debate here rb - Walker - As much as TAA is good, walker's defensive quality, pace just does it. His crossing, although not as good as TAA is also good cb - Konate - underrated so much cb - Saliba - not as good as last season (set the bar really high that season), but still really good lb - Robertson - Think Ake is good, but Robertson's cross is something else cdm - Rodri - Rice is so good. Endo has been a major reason why Liverpool have been good. But really, Rodri is clear cm - Odegaard - The gel that makes Arsenal work. De Bruyne hasn't played much this season, but if he did, I would prob put him over Odegaard cm - Bernardo Silva - Shoutout to MAcAllister and Szobo, but Bernardo is just something else when he gets that free roaming midfield role. RW - Salah - Saka is good (he's top 3 winger), but Salah is number 1 LW - Foden - Shoutout to Luis Diaz (he's been really good this season) , Trossard, and Martinelli (who is benched for some games for some reason), but Foden is just ridiculous this season. Even earlier this season, he was good when others were not as good as they are now. ST - Haaland. Fair play to Nunez for stepping up from last season, but there's not as much debate here as there was for the gk position

weirdly i would go with Rorys team....i think it has better defensive coverage.....with stones having the dynamic role of dropping in midfield...thus u would have a back 3 with fullbacks who dont overlap.....just like the city setup ....adams one has overlapping fullback who in the transition can be caught out....we know trents defensive incapabalities....the only problem i have with both of them is their midfield....those midfielders have attacking roles more than tht of central midfielders....thus either one of the midfielders besides the dms....will have to compromise and help rice or rodri out defensively and with the build up....all of them are better at creating chances in the final third....someone like kovacic or jorginho....or any of the liverpool midfielders would have done well at being a box to box and maintaining balance in the midfield...whilst helping out in the build up and defense....they would pose an opposing threat in terms of long shots and retaining possession....as for the attack...if adam added jota it would have been a lot more impressive...his versatility and ruthlessness in front of goal always aids liverpool in the games they need it most...when salah ain good...he usually steps up...but even if....there is still no comparison when u compare it the front 3 of rorys....although Haaland aint on form now...we know what he can do...mo is mo...diaz the trickster....offers pace and guile....better dribbling than most on the pitch if not all....has his moments

A combined Arsenal & Liverpool back four would have 3 Liverpool and 1 Arsenal CB in it.

VVD and Trent have been fit and available basically the entire season. Konate, Gomez, or Matip have been available for all the games - they've all recently been first choice CBs to play alongside VVD. Konate and Gomez have each been available over 2/3 of the season. Robertson has been available for a little over half the games, but he's missed a fair amount the past 3 seasons, so that's probably about what you can expect. Ben White has been better than Trent this season. Defensively, they're not even close. Going forward, White has as many goals and assists and Trent, even though Trent is the primary set piece taker for Pool.

Jota should be in but martinelli atleast matches diaz IMO. Tactically more options as well as trent can overlap with odegard dropping or Trent can invert. Haaland immune to touching the ball or scoring in games that matter (0 goals 0 assists in 8 Finals and Semi finals).
