Steve, great work giving this advise. This is something I’ve been working on constantly for the past 9 months but I think you’ll agree it’s not an easy thing to change. It requires a lot of work. It’s very athletic as you need to coil more and your trail shoulder muscles get a different workout as well. When you get this right it works really well but it takes time to be consistent. We all watched Jordan’s pre-shot routine on the course for over a year where he’s continually trying to ingrain this into his swing. That’s without all the off-course work he did on it. Enjoying your channel. Cheers👍

I've taken to rolling the right elbow open at address, but I have been leaving the left elbow pointing about half way right to take advantage of the hinge. It makes it easier for me to get the club into the top (73 years old, so much less flexible than I was at 30). I haven't been thinking so much about the right elbow/ right forearm relationship at the top, which I just learned is the reason my misses tend to be left pulls. Ill give the45 degree at the top thing a whirl...LOL Thanks Steve.

Lovely course vlog/tuition. This is my current swing thought from my last lesson- but the explanation from you just reinforces the reason. If Hogan, Cowan and Johnston say so, then trying to keep my towel connected has to work. Loving the new content. Hope you are feeling better about it all.
