Do the slim subs kick out much base? I need to upgrade my sprinters audio.

Hello, these tune up subwoofer as not really for loud or deep bass as they are limited to the size of these upgrades and are designed to give you a pep-up on the lower frequencies as Defenders only have 4" speakers front are rear and although these can be upgraded these is only so much a 4" speaker will do. We sell a lot of these tune up subs and it will get your defenders to play some of the missing lower frequencies but honestly if you want low bass your going to have to have a 10" or 12" subwoofer and amplifier and box and these take up a lot of boot space. I hope this helps and we carry these slimline tune up subwoofers in stock if you wish to call over to have a look at these.

I had a Clifford alarm fitted to me Defender cost me £650 the control unit packed in on the autobahn in Germany ,I had no ignition I had to get recovered by the ADAC they took me to a Land Rover dealership who charge me €680 to remove the Clifford alarm and put it back to stock.when I got back to the UK I contacted Clifford (as the unit comes with a lifetime guarantee) but they fobbed me off say that I never had the system serviced.utter crap.

Hi Terry, I can't see your name on our customers who we have installed one of these systems so I assume this was fitted elsewhere? The warranty is a limited lifetime and this only covers the failure of the main control unit and not the installation and Yes the alarms do need to serviced yearly as they rely on the factory vehicle switches and the other sensors to be checked to make sure this system is operating correctly and I would have thought this would have been explained to you by Clifford UK. I would suggest you take this up with the company who installed this system, Sorry but I am not going to get involved in a argument or a debate on some other company's work. However if we ever have an issue with something we have supplied and fitted as a responsible installer we would sort this out and with all our Clifford Systems we explain the alarm and its operation and also that they need to be serviced and I can understand your frustration but we pride ourselves on our installation and service and this is something that customers often Don't consider when they choose the installation company to fit there alarms as paying a little more to get the best installers to do the work will always pay off on the long run. Like I said earlier we are sorry you have had a bad experience with another installation company but this is nothing to do with ourselves and it looks like your just looking to vent your frustration at anything Clifford
