My grandpa was an alcoholic and seeing everything that's been happening feels all too familiar. She isn't going to stop drinking. Not unless someone literally straps her and forces her to rehab it is EXTREMELY unlikely she is going to stop drinking. In the situations with Slazo and Kwite and all the embittered exes weren’t anonymous, the ‘evidence’ and specific accusations were made public and they were taken to public before taken to law enforcement. Justin Roiland’s ex is anonymous, the situation was not made public by the ex but by the media, and it was taken to court FIRST before the public. As people have said, Adult Swim knew about it before the media reported on it and it had been an ongoing situation for a while, unlike the people you mentioned who got hit by accusations at once out of nowhere. I’m not saying Roiland is guilty bc I just don’t know, but it’s nothing like the Kwite or Slazo situations so you can’t compare them at all…

About the Justin accusations, it’s not a good look to see people believe he’s still guilty on the accusations. He may be a terrible guy off camera, who knows, but if there wasn’t enough evidence to make up a case especially considering that it’s between a former partner. He may still be a little sketchy but seeing Adult Swim and his own video game company drop all future projects with him frame 1, hearing former coworkers vent about him after he got canned, and the massive online outrage looks more like another guy getting unjustly blacklisted from work; I’ve yet to see anyone make an apology from this.

Alcoholism is an incredibly scary thing to see someone go through. I've never once watched minx, or had any interest to, but I sincerely hope she gets help. I lost a coworker to alcoholism a few years back. Went to the hospital for failing liver in November, doctors said if he continued drinking at all, just even just at the rate he was, but literally at ALL, he wouldn't be back in the hospital, he'd be in the morgue. Few months later in the spring we got news that he died from alcohol poisoning. I hope she gets help, I truly do.

Hello. As an Alcoholic who’s been drinking for over 20 years. I can say it’s not that easy to just stop. I know my alcohol abuse has fucked up my life. I know. But at this point it’s more about learning how to control my alcoholism (which is possible and I have successfully done so) I won’t stop drinking but I can control usually what I consume in a social situation such as a party or event. It took a long time for me to get to that place where I’m not shit faced every time I go out. But I did it. It is possible.I take offense to saying if one abuses alcohol they just need to stop. NO! I enjoy the drink and shouldn’t have to never drink again. It’s a matter of control. Long gone are the days I get too drunk at bars or parties or just hanging (I do be getting tipsy, but not fall down, can’t drive, drunk anymore) I got a DUI years ago and it really put me in my place. I drink outside my home of course, a few flyers a day- I need it just to normalize at this point. but I only I get drunk at home. It’s something that is doable for alcoholics. Not all, but yes it’s possible. I’m what one would call. “Functional Alcoholic” I go to work every day and I drink yes but my tolerance is so high it literally just even me out and makes me whole agin. Yes it rules my life. No I can not go a day without it. I’m in the space where I can not quit without a medical situation. For some people that’s just what it is. You learn to live with it.

I actually use Tiktok to promote my small business a lot. I get more overall reach there than on any other social media platform. Personally, I don't think tiktok could ever be justly banned, but then again it seems like crazy things are happening and it'll only get worse. I'll be sad and upset if tiktok gets banned, but I also don't believe in practicing brand loyalty, so I'll just move to other platforms. I actually do pretty well with KZbin Shorts too

Well yeah its brainrotting, but America doesnt tend to ban brainrot. Honestly the whole information thing is definitely a cover for the real reason there is a political push for it to be banned. And with a cover like that it’s pretty easy to get other politicians on board. With legit 5 years of tiktok idk what’s the point of sudden random security concerns, if china was stealing data then they already have too much for it to matter. If they are hacking into tiktok to brainwash americans and haven’t successfully pulled it off for 6 years then they kinda really suck at that. Hell genshin impact has more data access than tiktok has, this really is just politically motivated.

all im sayin is, i never quit drinking, i quit hard liquor and have genuinely stayed true to having at MOST 6 beers in one night/day, i knew i couldnt stop cold turkey, because i didnt want to. i still enjoy drinking, and still drink, and im safe and healthy. maybe she just needs a push to cut back and find alternative ways to *feel* like youre drinking a lot but youre drinking normally. like even taking shots of just beer could do it for some people. its not that simple, and i know that, but shes def gotta at least make steps towards being better rather than tell everyone shes fine
