Love that you're showing the "regular guy" version of all the fancy youtube woodworkers we all watch nowadays. I feel the same way when I'm in my garage trying to figure my way through another wood project and constantly bumbling along. Good stuff, thanks

I love that you show the mistakes of your work and take humor in learning through the process. We don't to get to see many of the failures of wood working youtube channels and only the successes. Keep up the great work

That's very true, and the mistakes are just as helpful in learning the skill as the successes. Thanks for watching!

I ALMOST bought myself one of these because I am adding a 3rd monitor to my work space. I thought about just making it myself because I know exactly what I want. I found this video right before I settled for something that didn't match. Thank you for the inspo!

Idk what I liked more the project or The sarcastic ass commentary 😂. Thanks for sharing. Are you going to add any accessories (underside shelves, drawers, etc?)
@wayofthelatebloomer
@wayofthelatebloomer 5 ай бұрын
haha, thanks! After using this thing for a few months, I was thinking of adding a simple drawer to one side, something that would just slide along the desktop, instead of on actual drawer slides.. Though not sure if that counts as a drawer. Thanks for watching!

@@wayofthelatebloomer drawer, sliding shelf...moving thingy for extra stuff...any of the above lol. Ive been watching some videos on the Balolo set up and one thing I really liked about it is the accessories that integrate with it (like drawers, phone holders etc)

@@TheMrWills Yeah, I've seen those too, pretty innovative innovative idea. I made a phone holder too, it doesn't quite integrate like the Balolo, but I am damn proud of it!

@@wayofthelatebloomer we recently cleared out our garage and now with the extra space I was thinking woodworking may be my next expensive hobby I get into (already into cars and electronics lol). Do you have any recommendations to someone starting out? I basic drill/impact set but not too much else that I think would help with woodwork.
@wayofthelatebloomer

@@TheMrWills I would definitely recommend checking out the Kreg Adaptive Cutting System Master Kit (www.kregtool.com/shop/cutting/track-saw-cutting/adaptive-cutting-system-master-kit/ACS3100.html). This is what I have used for all my projects. I think it's a good entryway into building stuff because it's safer than a tablesaw, and you can still do a lot more with it than just getting a circular saw or just a track saw. Add a router into the mix, and then you can be even more versatile with what you can build. But take this with a grain a salt, as I still consider myself a beginner.

so you knocked-off the knock off? would it mean that you legally allowed to sell it, since you're not knocking-off the original 🤣
