Missed some good ones, aeons of death, its every oldschool shooter into one with a randomizer, you fight aliens from duke nukem next to quake monsters while using weapons from painkiller and serious sam or turok. Kriegsland a wolfenstein mod similar to doom incarnate but more wolfenstein. neocore doom dark depths, a cyberpunk styled mod with 90s like weapons

Ashes arsenal is great, but it's not balanced for classic Doom monsters and encounters at all... and it's kinda hard to find decent maps for these mobs outside of cities and maybe (underground?) bases...

Depends on what you prefer personaly my go to weapons are hellrider, leds generic weapons, brutal doom weapons only, and ashes 2063 weapons only

now you mention Iron snail, Do you know Rebel Rumble Mod ? it's a mod which mechanics is very close to the metal slug series with a different art style unlike iron snails, you can only take two hits but you take a gift to recover the lost hit and you can only handle one weapon at a time

@@minicaco4973 isn't that a little overkill thought, project msx is a really fast experience so having just brutal doom monsters doesn't look like much of a challenge even for slaughter maps. I mean a lot of stuff in the mod was already insanely overpowered within the mod let alone with more slower enemies.

So that Halo mod for DOOM is cool and all but actually kind of insulting since to begin with, the HALO guy was a rip off of the DOOM guy, just enough changes to avoid copyright suits....thats a big reason ive never really liked Halo, but I respect its impact on the genre, just think whoever came up with the HALO guy could have NOT made him Green or even look ALMOST like the Doom Guy.... but still that mod is pretty cool, even though I dont like Halo
