For hotels I also highly highly recommend the JA resort in jebel Ali. It is much quieter than the main city but there is a free shuttle bus to the malls etc

Dubai is not a city it's an Emirate, similar to a state. Deira, Jebel Ali and International city are all examples of cities in Dubai. All of which are in the country the United Arab Emirates. the UAE has 7 Emirates, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Umm Al Quwain.

Depending on the source, Dubai mall is either a 5th to 28th largest mall in the world. Many sources have the Iran Mall listed as the largest, some have the south China mall listed as first.

Definitely recommend taxi vice Uber to and from the airport/around city. Uber has an added ~10$ airport fee and much higher although Uber drivers are in Lexi, still not worth the 20-30$ more
