Riding style, terrain and rider weight make a huge difference in the range a rider can expect from an electric skateboard. Coming up with the specifications for the Hadean wasn't an easy task, so we took 3 riders of different weights and skated in multiple scenarios. Enjoy this extended edition of the ultimate range test!
When it comes to range there are more factors than you might imagine. We advertise ‘real world’ range, because it should not be measured in Eco mode at 10kph, but even in Corsa mode there are so many variants that come into play. Rider weight, speed, inclines, off-road riding, and bursts of acceleration will affect your result. In this test, we show the boards in as many conditions as possible so you should know what to expect when you get on your Hadean.

Good video. My weight is 65kg. 170cm height. With 80cells samsung 35e(18650) my diy board goes about 55km in 7inch. That includes 1 steap hill(1500meters) and overall just smooth bike roads but average speed is around 30km per hour. Usually I dont accellerate that fast as well. This wont vary too much whatever the board is actually. All you need to know is how many batteries are in there and a good example to compare.

I think tire deformation for the heavier riders might read as a further distance traveled and a misread in distance traveled for them. Do you have a gps compare to verify the boards reported mileage?

Is the bamboo just as stable as the carbon? It is now milled out around the base plates

It is similar to the GTR, the base plate style doesn't make a difference to stability. The dropdown deck and longer wheelbase may make it a bit more stable than the BGTR, but we find that full speed with the right truck set up is super stable.

I still think the carbon hadean is the way to go (although the teak looks amazing). As far as racing durability goes though you cant beat the carbon.

In QLD electric skateboards are legal. There are restrictions on speeds, riding on major roads, and you need helmets + lights at night.

The battery is a little more integrated with the rest of the board, especially the Carbon. It would be possible to carry and swap, but given the increased range and faster charger it may be best to pull up, charge then go again!

Could you show a heavy rider on the bamboo hadean? I want to order one but I really don't want to have to fork out the extra $400 for the carbon variant

The deck flex is much the same as the GTR if you have ridden the bamboo variation of that. The deck strength of Bamboo Hadean is fine for a heavy rider but it's best to have a ride to see if you like the way the flex feels.
