Thanks so much! Mainly due to integration apps, I would say there are waaaay more apps available for Ali express rather than alibaba. Also with Alibaba it is designed more for larger bulk orders. A lot of the time Chinese dropshippers on Aliexpress have just bought bulk orders from suppliers on Alibaba, and sell the items individually.

But Alfie is dropshipping allowed on Etsy? I guess I read somewhere that Etsy is removing non handmade and dropshipping items after their recent quarterly call as Etsy wants to be a marketplace that doesn’t want cheap Chinese stuff being dropshipped from its platform so has it changed recently?

Thanks for that comment, you are right drop shipping is NOT ALLOWED on Etsy.. With that said I still get so many questions about Etsy dropshipping that I thought it would be good to make a video about it. I'm not saying it's the best or even most honest way to make money online, but this is also why I said in the video that you can be reported very easily. At the end of the day dropshipping is always going to be a popular business model, and variants of it have been around for centuries, one of the most popular ones I see now a days (going away from etsy) is people dropshipping services.. I started my online career dropshipping, but there are positives and negatives to it. I do prefer actually working with handmade suppliers like I do with my businesses now, but I understand that is hard for a lot of people who dont have the start up funds. I had to put 7k into my business to start it, where as dropshipping is free. It's an option, and I'm here to give my best tips and methods of how to help you all make money online, what you choose to do with that knowledge is up to you :)

When I used to dropship back in the day I would use an announcement and order message to communicate that orders would be delayed for 2 weeks during this period. Best thing is to always be upfront, you might lose out on some sales, but should avoid any complaints and negative reviews

Does it matter if I am dropshipping from China and my shop country is UK?

Your shop country can be UK but I recommend to not fill in the location section of your shop (under shop name on your shop page). Also make sure you put the shipping location as China address, if you put a UK address you are technically lying and Etsy will likely pick up on this and shut you down. It works in the short term. You will be banned from Etsy if caught. You will not be able to open any other store, do at your own risk if you want to make money in the long term.😢 .

Agreed, I do speak to a lot of sellers that have drop shipped on Etsy for years and it is obviously very lucrative. I have done previously but I must admit there is nothing like actually providing an amazing product with great packaging to your customers and hearing all the kind words and responses, this tops it in my opinion. Also I much prefer the control you get with actually owning and running your business day to day, which I think you don’t get with dropshipping 😊

Is it STOCK FOOTAGE or a professionally captured video created by a videographer you hired. i mean , if u somehow created that video, should it be entirely owned by you (asking due to copyright and other shitty issue idk ;) or it can be done for free 🥲
