I like Peak Design 6L ver2, but I like PD sling 10L ver1 more. I'm still using 10L ver1. I think you're right, the front pocket is really small, maybe Peak Design need a ver3 for sling bags. But all these bags you mentioned I like Peak Design the most, mainly because of its stiff surface.

Fjallraven is my fav small light sling, generous 3 compartments, mesh back, is hip pack/sling/packable, but I wish we had a minimal branding version or cooler new material like VX42, would look much better if it holds the shape when empty, but then it would not be so packable.

Thanks for making this video! You seem like the perfect person to ask given the amount of bags you’ve reviewed! I’ve got the R6 mark ii, rf28-70 & rf70-200 2.8. I want a small discreet sling bag that can fit the above in. I won’t need any additional space, so looking for something that’s compact. Having checked the measurements for the peak design 6 litre sling, I thought it would be just right but I can’t close the zip. Do you have any recommendations for something discrete/compact that could fit my kit? Thanks in advance, Harry

Hey Harry, sorry for the late reply was on vacation! Hmm those are some pretty beefy lenses. I don't have those lenses anymore so I cant do testing but I something in the 9L-10L range might work best. The PGYTECH ONE MO Sling might work!

@@DesmondCheng hi Desmond, thanks so much for getting back to me. My apologies now for the late response! I don’t see KZbin notifications! You’re right, they’re definitely beefy lenses! I opted for the billingham hadly pro 2020. It fits everything in including filters and some sound kit, so is ideal! Although I’ll check out the pygtech one as I’d like some just for the camera and lenses without all the additional kit! Best regards, Harry

PeakDesign slings definitely need a v3, the front pocket is almost non-functional & should be hidden on the back instead for a larger opening. I sold my 3L recently because whilst excellent for my camera, a couple of primes and maybe a battery there's just no space for anything else - not even a mobile unless you take the camera out first but then you have to re-organise it and fumble around. The 6L is better yet thanks to their shape they bounce around quite easily, disappointing and clearly style before function. I like the Venture 6L having gotten one myself recently, the cushioned bottom helps although I still find it tricky once you start putting a camera with lens + another lens and there's no handle to grab on the go

If you want to look like every other amateur poser photographer, then buy a Peak Design Bag. They sell them in Best Buy. Most overrated garbage. I almost lost a 70-200 and a D850 to a Peak Design Everyday Zip. DOWN A CLIFF too. Never again. I would rather buy Wandrd or Mindshift or Lowepro. You know, real bags that aren’t crowdfunded fashion. Buy a Billingham. You’re welcome.

Nice video but for me and depends where you are taking photos, I'd never wear it on my back in certain places as Pickpockets love bags that are worn like that and to add they also almost never actually put everything in a bag, they look great empty but sometimes not that practical when fully loaded, in some of the bags they had internal pockets but clearly unusable when a Camera is put in it but a nice range of bags to investigate so thanks for that.

I recently got the 3L Peak Design, but the internal storage is not enough for me, although the external size is too bulky! So, I'm now considering the Bellroy Sling, 6L or 9L. I've heard though that the 6L is actually close to the 3L of the Peak Design! What do you think?
@DesmondCheng2 ай бұрын
I like the 6L, but there's no dividers so not ideal for carrying a camera system. but if u are just carrying just one camera body with lens attached, then the 6L is great. The 9L is too big. But if you are carrying a larger DSLR with a larger lens like a 24-70mm, then the 9L is a good size
