He did not only drive at Silverstone to a win in 2024, He also spearheaded strategy and pit stop timing to the weather and track conditions also. I am foremost a Max and Sainz Fan, but at Silverstone this past year, Lewis had one of His best drives ever, even with lessor equipment. @F1Unchained

I believe that people will be disappointed in the upcoming season. There is too much of "this is going to be very close seasons"/"this is going to be the closest season ever"/"just look how close the end of the last season was". No one predicted the 2024 season to unfold like it did. After 5 races we were looking at three 1-2s and one 1-3 from RB (with Max's breaks exploding in Australia after which people were saying that if it didn't happen Max would have won the race). After Miami people still talked about how Lando benefitted from SC and without it Max would have won (all correct). Not until Austria did people start thinking Max wouldn't run away with the title like he did in 2023. So we have nothing to go on to say that the 2025 season will be Lec vs Ham vs Max vs Lando vs Oscar (vs Russell) title fight. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see a close season, but I believe people are setting themselves up for disappointment.

Exactly some teams like Williams tend to do well at power tracks and RedBull tends to do well at Mexico(during 17-19 RedBull was usually the fastest car on this track not Ferrari or Merc)

@Winnight.11 күн бұрын
@@F1Unchained idk the method you used to decide which track is better for each driver, but if it uses just an average finishing position, then this is the result (used AI to help calculating it) If we consider DNF as P20 (last place) then : 1. Hungary (with DNF as P20): Average Finishing Position: 3.53 Consistency (Standard Deviation): 4.54 2. Silverstone: Average Finishing Position: 2.63 Consistency (Standard Deviation): 3.70 Result: Silverstone is better due to a lower average finishing position and higher consistency. Don't get me wrong, I'm just curious how you determine if. Can you elaborate mate? Edit: I'm talking about Hamilton. Forgot to mention it

Hey Miki, Happy New Year & if you don't remember, I was the guy who commented an extremely long analysis on Lewis Hamilton's worst track in the F1 Driver's worst track video you made not too long ago, glad we were able to get this video from you to start off 2025! That being said, while I fully I believe Lewis's best track is Silverstone (like almost everyone else, given that he has the record for most wins there), in a weird way I'm kinda glad you said Hungary instead. He won there multiple times with McLaren before he moved to Mercedes, and he was able to win there 3 times without the fastest car at the time ('09, '12, '13). It was also the track where got his first victory with Mercedes too back in 2013. He's also insane around Canada, China, & CotA (with the exception of 2024) & he has won at least 4 times around many circuits like Bahrain, Barcelona, Spa, Monza, Sochi, Singapore, Suzuka, & Abu Dhabi, plus he's had some of his best races ever at tracks like Hockenheim, Turkey, & Brazil (also may I add that he is undefeated at a few circuits like Portimao, but he's only raced at those circuits once or twice) ;-) I also would have said Max's best track was Mexico given he has won 5 times there ('17, '18, '21, '22, '23), but that's just me being lazy & only counting wins. Yes, he is in fact insane around Austria & Spa...and also his 2 best races ever were in Brazil...in the wet. I would have guessed Fernando's best track was Malaysia also given he's won there 3 times & that was where he got his first pole & podium, but I didn't take into account of his record at Hockenheim AND Nurburgring. As for everyone else, I actually made guesses for all the drivers and these were my answers: Oliver Bearman - Baku (correct) Esteban Ocon - Jeddah (although Spa was my 2nd guess) Gabriel Bortoleto - Monza (correct) Nico Hulkenburg - Silverstone (yes, I realized how good he was at Australia after the fact you said it) Carlos Sainz - Singapore (Monaco was one of my other guesses) Alex Albon - Canada Yuki Tsunoda - Bahrain Pierre Gasly - Zandvoort/CotA (should have known given Brazil is the only place he's been on the podium twice) Lance Stroll - Canada (almost right) Kimi Antonelli - Spa/Hungary (partially correct) George Russell - Spa (you gave it away when you said controversial, but I also though it could have been Jeddah or Brazil) Charles Leclerc - Baku/Monza (partially correct, although he's underrated at Baku) Liam Lawson - Singapore Oscar Piastri - Baku (Jeddah was also considered, I think he's equally good around both circuits) Lando Norris - Austria (correct, but he's also amazing around Imola, arguably just as good as Austria) I had to look up Isack Hadjar & Jack Doohan's track record so I didn't count my guesses for them. But we all know who the best around Monaco is and that is the G.O.A.T. Ayrton Senna! Anyways, great video!

This is an amazing comment and I love the analysis. So many drivers could have had another track and this is a brilliant way of putting it. I have seen Alex twice in Canada now funny enough

I think Imola needs a shout for Lando. 3 podiums in 4 starts, including in a very slow 2022 car, and P8 in the other race. Would agree he’s great in Austria though. Singapore and Abu Dhabi also very good.

In fairness to lewis, fernando, and max, they're all criminally consistent at most tracks, that's why they're world champions, I'm sure lewis' best track was only hungary by a small margin, lewis is better at every track than most drivers are at their best, and fernando probably has a track he has 10+ podiums at, same for max, at that point it's just trying to find the biggest nugget of gold
@midas73949 күн бұрын
Please accept the challenge to prove us wrong by creating an interesting, statistical driver cost analysis, over the last 6 years, of all F1 drivers (including young Mick Schumacher and Logan Sergeant). 1) Summarizing the annual ‘car repair’ costs. 2) Summarizing how many WDC plus WCC points they lost directly as a result of driver error plus indirectly by blocking / having contact ‘on track’ with his team mate. We predict that Russell is easily the most expensive F1 driver 'on track' when both 'car repair’ costs & both ‘championship points lost’ costs are added together.

Give Alonso a good car and he's good everywhere one of the best pure racers F1 has ever seen, obviously Hamilton is the same type of racer give him a good car and he will dominate the field, Charles ultra talented super fast good wheel to wheel racer just want to see some more consistency from him he should benefit by having Lewis as his teammate and should shine in 2025, Max mega talented obviously, he is a master at using the racing guidelines to the extreme but if any rule changes are made in 2025 in regards to dive bombing and aggressive driving you will see Max not be at the front. My prediction is the drivers championship is going to be between Charles, and Lewis with Lando, Oscar and Max in the mix but will be decided between Charles and Lewis
