I even can’t imagine that to finish D2 - it’s just a start of this crazy world of MF runs, unit items, builds and runewords. I open this way because of yours videos. (And also mrmcllama, he also cool, why won’t you make a stream with him? 2 pros run D2. That’s will be amazing) Keep on doing what you doing, try to play other mods (D2 have lot of them) and wish you grow up more and more on KZbin.

I have a question though: how do you recreate the game by pressing "save and exit" and open chests from the distance? That (especially the 1st) would save alot of playtime. What about duel phoenix for fire claw druid? niche build but you could easily get over -50% res to all enemies when using 2 pheonix and a ravenlore, in addition to running infinity merc for even more damage shenanigans. Although ravenlore may not be the best option when going melee. Might opt for Cerberus or Jalal's helm instead and put in a fire facet. And since phoenix can be made in, what appears to be, any weapon, you could easily make into either a phase blade to help hit IAS breakpoint or a Berserker Axe for higher damage. Probably want a Fort or CoH for armor, LoH gloves for Ias, string or dungo's for belt, bk ring, Raven frost, gore rider's, and most likely a highlords wrath, or for fun a rising sun ammy. Could make for an interesting build, albeit expensive.

ever thought about a phoenix melee sorc with the runeword that gives zeal or beast, then maxing enchant and being a fire sorc with super high dmg could even use ormus enchant armor

you could also try using that phx shield on a not efficient 1 hander ww barb setup. Grief pb + phx shield just for boredom lol. WW cant cast the firestorm proc so you wont get any interruptions... Or use it on a kicker sin. Could synergize with a fire kick sin doing non fire immune mlvl 85 spots. Theres also a fireclaw druid but the firestorm proc will be the drawback (same on the sin if you use kicks) But GG roll on that self made phx.

I am using the Phoenix runeword in a GMB for a fire bowazon and it's working very well. I also use the Phoenix runeword in a shield on my main set for my Javazon for the mana regen. The way I have my javazon setup I could use an insight Act 2 merc since I am not using infinity because I am running a dual elemental javazon build between poison and Plauge javs and lightning javs as my main. I may use a spirit T-Strokes combo in my off hand for boss killing. Very good phoenix roll though.

Amazing video as always. Btw rolled 23%ED off perfect, because your base was 15% so 415% was the max possible in the roll :D Phoenix sounds good at AT fire sorc, btw idk about the MF about reached. That video are making me want do to Phoenix instead of Ice. Sad because I only have 2 Jahs and 2 Los and are thinking about Faith + Pride and Ice :/

Pheonix gives Enhanced Damage, not Enhanced Defence. So 15 was perfect and 392 was 8 from perfect

zealer paladin works extremely well with phoenix. hands down the most damage dealer for melee even on p/8. that just one example for the build (phoenix). and it still depends on what you pair with it. obviously the main weapon is grief and fortitude for armour.

Firestorm can only interupt the first initial hit of zeal if I remember correctly 🤔

@@Dbrunski125 yes it interrupts every 1st hit if firestorm procs but only a split second, the 2nd 3rd and so on doesn't interrupts anymore. works extremely good on damage and survivability no problemo even on p8 a5. 👌

Been 10 years since i played this game but how did you swap the shield from sorc to barb in single player mode?

Back in the day I had a phoenix on a Javazon and a Fury Wolf druid there is also the fireclaw druid I never got around to build one that should work well with this shield. I never felt like my Javazon needed teleport just because of the good FRW she had and when running Chaos the outside area is also mlvl 85 so skipping it doesn't really matter. You also don't need teleport for cows.

Pheonix works really well with a Zealer with lots of max dmg small charms and Fort. But that redemption aura is my worst nightmare when i chaos run with my Goldfind Barb :P

I thought fire traps don't benefit from the -fire res because they are treated as pets? Or do you use it just for Fire Blast?

I just use it on switch to replenish mana. So lay down traps everything dies then I switch to offhand to get the redemption to replenish my mana. The minus fire res does not work on traps like you mentioned :)

Yeah The Hell mod certainly ups the difficulty a significant amount. I cant remember how many times I had to restart a new game because the monsters were just too tough or too many of them. I made it to Level 4 Nightmare and gave up and went back to D2 haha

They can't be superior to put sockets using cube. But using the cube the number of sockets vary. And only in cube you can ebug.
