If you come across this video and you see all the comments having issues. Just know I ordered one about six months ago. I have not had a single failure in 300 rounds or so. I know that’s not a lot but these comments act like you can’t get a mag through it. I wanna say either it was installed incorrectly or timney has fixed their qc issues. But I know a few people personally that forgot to install the little clip that goes under the screw and they didn’t loctite it properly and it falls out. Also if you polish your internals it makes everything much smoother. I have a 19x on my channel that has this trigger in it and you can see me mag dumping in my very first short and this thing rocks. I love mine and wouldn’t trade it for anything. I was so afraid after I ordered it reading terrible comments but it’s been 100% for me.

After several hours of frustration and phone calls to Timney, my Gunsmith gave up trying to install the comp trigger into my stock Glock 19 Gen 4. However, he did test installing it in his Glock 19 Gen 3, and it installed and functioned perfectly. Timney indicated on his last call that Timney had incurred some defective parts in their mfg. process causing issues for installations for Gen 4 pistols. Since I wasted $$ with the Gunsnith attempts I sold the Timney kit to him at a discount. I plan on my future purchases with Mcarbo in the future since I've incurred no previous issues with their products.

Stop the perpetuation of old wives tales about light triggers. If you have met your statutory criteria justifying the use of deadly force, what difference does the weight of a "light" trigger-pull matter? In fact, if you have NOT met statutory criteria for the justified use of deadly force you have no business, placing the weapon on "fire" (if it has an active safety systems ), or placing your finger on the trigger of your firearm. Here are some paraphrased words of wisdom by Mike Panone 'trigger pull weight is immaterial to safety, whether functional (the functioning of the trigger) or operational (use of the firearm). Properly functioning [firearms] only discharge when the trigger is pulled. Accidental or more-commonly-experienced negligent discharges (ND) are operator induced ( in other words, keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot).'

No law enforcement agency would authorize such light trigger pull on duty service pistols. Least of all the military. A civilian using a handgun with a very light trigger pull in self-defense could face criminal and, more likely civil liabilities in a court of law. Light pistol triggers are great for shooting competition, and that's it. In the real world, light triggers could become a legal "nightmare" in the case of use of deadly force. With that said, I am a huge fan of MMA extraordinaire Josh Barnett. He is the epitome of a manly man. Educated, philosophical, well spoken, and also an incredibly strong and skilled reality fighter.
