First thing's first: LET'S GET THIS PART 2 GLUTE GUIDE! 👏🏽 Your post glute guide chat-Sophie, you are speaking all the thoughts in my head and it is so reassuring that even you, with a whole fitness job, feel this way, too. You are so right-the consistent workout is so important to feel good, confident, peaceful, but it's so hard, even knowing the benefits, still so hard, to push yourself to do it. I never regret doing it and that's something I always remind myself. It being a thing that mainly benefits me, and takes a good chunk of time, when I have so many obligations to others, is definitely something that can make me reluctant to be consistent. I wonder how people do it, but I keep coming back to: it's a priority, even over work. If my body doesn't function at its best, everything else suffers: my mental health, my physical health, and THUS my relationships and my work. If you aren't full of greatness for your own sake, if you aren't well taken care of (by yourself), there's nothing to give to anyone or anything else. For me fitness is part of my retirement plan, but also more than that, because I benefit from and enjoy it NOW, but it will also ensure I can remain independent and live a satisfying and fulfilling life as I age, because I'm maintaining all the amazing abilities this wonderful machine we call a body can do.

I love how knowledgeable you are about fitness and the body in general. It definitely helps when I'm trying to perfect my form on any exercise. I'm currently in week 8 of your "Ultimate Glute Guide". I don't see a big difference but maybe that's a result of not eating enough

Hi, Sophie!! You are so right about been hard finding time for training and make it somehow a priority. Because of other many things I have to do I have not trained in a few months and now I just feel so lazy to start up again. Been a mother of 3 little ones is not an easy task and becomes a chore wanting to improve yourself. I also agree that it is so rewarding when you have finally done it, I truly love that feeling!! Thank you for your insight, you are lovely.❤ will be waiting for the second part😍

Hey Sophie, thanks for your video. I've been following you for around 8/9 months now, ever since I started my fitness journey. I went from doing nothing to building consistency and sticking to at least 2 or 3 times a week in the gym. I saw my body changing and toning up in these past months, and now I feel ready to start building muscle with heavier weights. I struggle with my legs, specifically quads and hamstrings because I feel like they are weak and every time they shake a bit when I workout, and I'm scared of getting cramps. This prevents me from working to my maximum potential because I know that I could do more repetitions or carry more weight. I think I have a mental block that I need to work through... This only happens with these two specific muscles because I had cramps in the past before but it was because I had never worked out. I really want to get over this block because I know I could grow my glutes a lot more. Do you have any tips on this, or has it ever happened to you at the beginning of your fitness journey? Also, do you think I could benefit from getting a personal trainer that follows me, because I know that would already make me feel a lot calmer... I would love to buy your program but I feel like I need someone to follow me since I don't want to make mistakes or hurt myself. Thank you so much for your content, you are a great inspiration and I look up to you. Have a great day!! 💕💕

@lukes5631Ай бұрын
You just have to learn to use your azz. My glutes exploded when I started adding 15-20 near failure sets per week of RDLs and sumo/goddess squats. Mind muscle connection is everything for glutes. It's the part of the hinge movement that most people fail to recruit and it detroys the kinetic chain and overloads the erectors.

Constructive criticism ahead: Loved the content but a bit of a missed opportunity to SHOW, not just tell. Heart shape, square shaped etc what does that mean? Different people have different ideas. How does that look like? Great script but huge missed opportunity for visualization. And to be honest if you’re just going to show yourself doing whatever while voicing over, might as well have a podcast. Video clearly isn’t the focus here.

I love hip dips why would you want to train out of having them?
@oedalis4 ай бұрын
@@PSWildlife I'm not sure where the negative associations came from because only people who have them seem to dislike them, but some folks somewhere must have spread the false idea that they are a result of unfitness and are unattractive. I think they just help your quads look popping.

I have tried so hard every different exercise and I can never feel my glute. Maybe one time for the first rep. My thighs ALWAYS burn no matter what I do. My butt will never ever get sore idk what to do anymore. My quads are huge. If I can’t find this I will quit the gym.
@summerwelch48503 ай бұрын
Some people are dominant in certain muscles but I also find I’ve had similar problems, you want to make sure you’re getting your foot placement correct because it makes a huge difference what muscles are targeted. Like hip thrusts if your feet are placed too far from your body it’ll activate hamstrings, if your feet are too close to your body it will activate more quads. You want it to be in the middle of those too. Also mind muscle connection is incredibly important, you can go through the motions of any workout and barely feel anything if you’re not actively keeping the muscles engaged through your reps and also mentally there. I feel activation can be helpful too if you did that in the beginning and throughout your workout. For instance, I am hamstring dominant and would feel hip extensions in my hamstrings more than my glutes, when I started touching the glute muscle with my hand as I perform the exercise it helped create that connection that wasn’t previously there. Last thing I’ll say, everyone’s body is different and some exercises will activate your muscles and some won’t, do your research and due diligence to find what works for your body, fitness is definitely not a one size fits all. Hope this helps!

Has anyone bought her guide? I just bought the home guide, and she trains the glutes and legs EVERY SINGLE WORKOUT DAY, that doesn't make sense! You need to let the muscles rest, she even mentions in her videos to train them 2-3 times per week. And of course, it's not refundable. So unfair!
