Nice! Getting the new work truck ready to work! I'm going to be purchasing a gooseneck hitch soon, I'll probably go with the B&W thanks to your video!

The worst part is cutting the hole in the bed. I’m always worried it’s going to be in the wrong spot!

I have a Curt hitch for my gooseneck horse trailer with livings quarters, had it installed 4 yrs ago. Have you ever heard of the ball moving in these hitches? It’s started making a clunking noise last September. I took it to the installer, they contacted Curt. Curt said they have not had this issue with anyone but that it was safe. What are your thoughts?

When my gooseneck ball starts making notice usually its because the ball is dry. A little bit of grease on the top of the ball usually quiets down any noises. I have installed gooseneck turnover balls from both Curt as well as B&W. Both were good and seemed well built. I now have the factory ball in bed on my 2018 Silverado 3500hd and it seems to have more slope than the other brands.

Carson, thanks. I’ve been around a bunch of gooseneck trailers. I never paid attention to the hitches on the vehicles. But, I’m pretty sure they were fixed balls. I’ll take a look from now on. It’ll be interesting to see what you think of the B&W in the future. Thanx for educating me!
