Your collection is awesome!!! Love those HC Civil War books. As you notice, I been out of comics a bit and now I'm fully back and trying to collect all my missing HC, Omnibus, and trades. These videos help me see what I still need to get:) lol Would you recommend me getting Secret Warriors Omnibus or spend that money elsewhere? I was on the fence with that one. What kind of shelves are you using? I'm starting to run out of space and need to pick up some reliable shelves.

I thought secret warriors was very average my friend rates it more highly! the best is oak shelves they don't bend and cost a small fortune! i have basic shelves from ikea they do the job but expect to have to change them after they get bent in a few years!

ITZJ1MB0 oh i have been collecting a long time not sure how long exactly i always pick up the marvel chronology booklets when they come out that helps a lot!

Great collection dude! Got some awesome Hardcovers in there. Out of interest why do you order your books newest to oldest, not seen that before.

Basicly, 1) one as i come into the room i like to see the oldest books first so the oldest book are nearest the door. 2) However the bigger reason is about pulling the books from the shelf. I think that when you pull a bunch of books from the shelf you should have number one at the top of the pile facing the right way. If you order them in the other direction the graphic novels pull backwards!!!! I putting it out there but a real pro collector who talks about his collection with people regularly should probably have it that way for that reason!

Talk Comix Fair enough, not heard of that before, that's interesting. I'm much more an alphabetical & chronological kind of guy, so seeing the numbers go in descending order would just bug me on my shelf. But that's the great thing about collections, everyone has their own way of displaying it, which is pretty cool.

LazyAsFunk yeah absolutely. It's weird but it totally bugs me the other way round. The books are all in chronological order with an emphasis on either crossover individual character or cosmic. Test out what i mean though take a bunch of graphic novels from your shelf ordered both ways and you will strait away see what i mean. Surely you would want book 1 on the top?

Yeah I totally see what you mean but those numbers on the side man, they get to me. And as most of the time they are on the shelf it makes more sense for me to keep em that way. I guess everyone just gets set in their ways.

Also I have a question: binding wise, are the Flash omnibi worth picking up?

binding wise i know DC have had there problems (like when you open them in the middle the binding trys to close itself and the quantity of gutter loss can be awful) however these don't seem so bad or at least my versions seem fine!

Well omnibus wise i am missing the kirby book. I won't buy the rest of the brubaker run (death, reborn) as i really didn't like it. Other Cap suggestions i am all up for?

How do you save up the money for all these omnibi, absolute editions etc.I'm not asking if you have a lot of money, I'm just asking how you save up the money to get all this. (I want to start a collection myself)
