You have great content, humor, nice quality, good editing and good reviews. Only point of critic is the ‘setup time’, you had to unlock the hinges, open the ‘door’ and stand out the feet, it wasn’t 3 seconds, probably around the same time as the other. Keep it up and will see you grow faster really soon my man!

I picked up the Elgato one since it was on sale for black Friday, MUCH larger and longer than I expected which is nice, but my current configuration is way too cramped to use it to it's full potential, which will be resolved once I move into my own place and can setup a little studio, so far I've only used it with OBS and it does really well! great video! liked and subscribed.

Great video comparison, thanks. I have a similar (but possibly worse) set up right now, and that's just a green screen cloth that I drape over some elevated dining room chairs. Looking at maybe getting the cheaper option here as the cloth creases and is so thin that lighting it evenly is difficult (light bleeds through from behind it too)

Excellent work! I was looking at precisely these two and was able to make a decision with your video. Have any of you used two of these Elgato screens side by side/offset from each other a few inches?
@MarkWattsVLG4 жыл бұрын
Not tried it but the base is wider than the screen so there would be a gap if they were side by side, offsetting them might interfere with the light distribution but if you've got a few decent lights it should be salvageable

A Q4U: does a 'green screen' actually have to be green? Can it be any colour as long as it's consistent across the surface?

Is chroma key paint expensive? The appartment I'm renting has a greenish color paint on it already, when I took a picture I could replace the background very similarly to a green screen. However, when I did the same with video I got a bit of a hazy look, especially if the image I replaced the green with was not bright. I imagine this is due to lighting??? Thanks for the video!
@MarkWattsVLG4 жыл бұрын
The reason bright green or bright blue is used for Chroma Key is it's easier for software to differentiate between than and any other colours in your video. If you're renting i'd maybe look at rolls of chroma key paper you can hang!

Hello. Excellent video. I’ve recently bought a similar green screen from Amazon but mine has the blue as well as green side when flipped round. The only slight stipulation is there’s no way of co erring the floor and I’m slightly tall. Are there a way round these small issues? It’s excellent how it’s portable and able to fold away in a bag.
